I've seen a few people talking about their 30% discount. I get family and friends discount as my friend works at o2. Does this mean if I upgrade to iphone 4 I will no longer get discount??

Am I right in saying that the iPhone won't be locked? Therefore I could try to buy an Orange PAYG phone, and put an o2 sim in it?

After hearing this, I'm almost certain to not get the iPhone 4 until the white is released

O2 will NOT let you buy an iPhone 4 at £279 and go on a £20 simplicity tariff. You need to buy a PAYG phone to go on simplicity. Those hoping to buy an iPhone at those prices listed and pay £20/15pm are in a fantasy land.

This = fact.

The odd thing though.... why are they including Simplicity in the table but not saying how much they will charge for a PAYG handset for you to put the Simplicity SIM in!

The O2 Open offer IS running then?? :confused:

I thought the Open offer has changed to £125 cash back, and will revert back to £75 at the end of THIS month.

However I rang up my o2 shop and they said it can't be used.

The 30% ran out back in November.

I'm confused, are those subsidised handset prices only for pay monthly contracts or are they for the simplicity tariffs too? (I can't imagine they are though, why would anyone go with a minimum 18 month contract otherwise)

this is p1ssing me off, theyve made a table thats not easy to read and contributed to making the whole launch of this a right pain in the arse. :mad:

Yeah, I work for John Lewis, and it was previously 30% (which I have on my current 3G contract) and was hoping I could get the new cashback offer for iPhone 4. Customer Services keep telling me to ask in store, and the stores keep saying to ring customer services :confused:
