Can Someone confirm that when i go into my Apple Store Next Thursday, that Apple will provide me with my my contract Micro-sim, there and then? and its just a matter for me to activate it?

What if Eyjafjallajökul erupts again between now and 24th and all our iPhones are stuck in China?
Don't go there. :)
or we will all end up with hell-of-f***-all (bad joke. kinda sounds like that crazy name if you say it fast enough) lol

Check back here regularly for our Pay As You Go prices and details.

they doing PAYG now? If they release info about their PAYG, and sell it on launch then it may be relevant to my interests

Just put in a pre-order at my local Orange store (Vicar Street, Kidderminster). Number 3 in the queue, so the third iPhone they get has my name on it for 24 hours. The two people ahead of me are members of staff.

If you're near Kidderminster, hop down there and put your name down, they reckon they'll have in the region of 60 in stock on the 24th. :D

I assume that was instore? Just phoned the Leamington Orange store and they're still not taking any pre-orders. They were all set to start taking pre-orders last Tuesday then they were told not too.

Anyone else pre-ordered from an Orange store?

First time poster - finally registered after reading every single post on this thread over the last couple of days.
Looks like the vodafone prices have gone up since the leaked alleged prices? I remember the 32Gb, 24month, £30 per month plan being £229 for the handset - too good to be true!

I don't have any contract or iphone and have one registered for collection in the Belfast store. Do not have a clue what option to go for now - need to start thinking!

Have tweeted - again - at o2 asking when I'll get my [expletive deleted] micro sim. Bet it arrives tomorrow if I phone retentions.

the o2 twitter bod doesn't even bother replying to my stuff... whereas the voda one is very good at it :) i'm basing my decision on that alone :p

and i've not received my o2 micro sim either...

People, Slightly Of topic, but anyone have any good iphone 4 wallpapers?

sorry i like to prepared :)

Many Thanks!

I love how vodafones leaked pricing was actually lower than what it has just released. They've seen the slightly higher pricing from O2 and mirrored them pretty much exactly.

I don't want to deal with the hassle of changing providers to im sticking with O2. I like visual voicemail and i use around 250mb a month in data.

On another note, my wife is thinking of going for the early termination offer. If they are sold out, will she still be able to take this offer out before it expires next month?

PS thanks for this thread...I have pretty mich lived here since the keynote last week. 6 days to go but i didn't get to pre order

payg prices "coming soon" it says :)

Yeah. Not much love amongst the networks for PAYG.

Right now Orange looks to be the only one with a good chance of doing PAYG at launch and, although I'd give over 50% probability of Orange PAYG at launch, I still haven't seen anything absolutely definitive from Orange to say that they'll have PAYG on 24th. Has anyone else?

So Vodafone's prices are up... and the handset prices and tariffs are THE SAME for all 3 major networks... price fixing anyone?;)

The only differences between the three are the monthly data allowances:

O2 offer 500mb (1GB for the higher monthly tarrifs)

Orange offer 750mb (they state unlimited data but FUP is 750mb)

Vodafone offer 1GB

Does anyone know what these 3 carriers do if you go over the limit? Do they charge for the extra data, slow the speed down or cut you off for the rest of the month?

Yes, Vodafone answered me straight away. Are you currently with o2? My contract with them ends on 3 July and iPhone is due to arrive on 5th. I could upgrade now to 12 month Simplicity to get benefit of unlimited data thingy but not sure I want to stay with them now.

there are rumours of 3 undercutting all the major networks tariffs.....i will wait for them to release their tariffs.

yea, currently with o2... but i'm on simplicity... but gonna switch to vodafone 30 day sim only

Is it true that O2 have changed their iPhone Tariffs so that it's now 20p per MMS?? At the moment the £35 a month contract I'm on counts 1 MMS as 4 SMS's which seems reasonable...I send a fair few MMS's so this may be the deal breaker for me and send me scurrying to Vodafone!

Just called O2. They're adamant that the stores will have micro-sims on Monday or Tuesday next week and O2 customers can pick one up in store as soon as they have them in stock.

I'll feel happier when the website says this too because O2 staff can be right ********s when they want to be.

Yeah hopefully they will get around to it now that the major networks have spilled the beans, although some still seem to be keeping quiet about pay-as-you-go. T-mobile is the same company so I don't know if they'll be waiting for those. Unless they're waiting til the bitter end when Tesco, Asda, Virgin et al have released theirs.
