That's the thing I like about this little "sub forum" we've created within MacRumors, we can use little local slang terms and there are other members from the same city who can and do pick up on it.
I won't be picking my iPhone 4 until July 24th. I sold my iPhone 3G for £200 to my best mate, and that money is sitting on an Apple Store gift card so the wife doesn't find it and spend it.
Next month when I get paid, I'll head along to the Apple Store and pay the other £300 along with the £200 on my Apple gift card ... sorted.
I just don't like the whole scenario with these Micro SIM's. I phoned O2 and asked to have a Micro SIM sent out, they said they were "unable to action my request". I told them that I filled in the form online, but it said not all customers would receive a Micro SIM ... again, totally unclear and confusing.
My reckoning is that when you buy the iPhone 4 from the Apple Store, you don't get ANY Micro SIM with the phone ... you're buying it SIM free, so the onus is on YOU to get a Micro SIM, carrier, and tariff sorted.
And, no matter how much I watch YouTube videos showing how "easy" it is to trim down your normal SIM to Micro SIM size, there's still a part of me that "***** masel".
