Theres far too many Norn Iron people on this thread :p....if theres 20 of us and another dear knows how many mentalists going down before 8am...how many people are going to be in the queue

For the size of the Belfast store...this i4 launch looks like its going to dwarf the opening :D

Yeah i've camped outside my local O2 store for the 3G and the 3GS, 1st in the queue for both (though for the 3GS I was the only person there till 5 minutes before the opening, the 3G had like 20 people in the queue) they will be expecting me to be first in line this year again, so i'll be sticking to the O2 store in Coleraine. Not sure about what time to head down at, though from the sounds of it there is going to be limited stock! :(

Everyone talking about MicroSIM's - just remember you can cut the regular SIM down, even if it's just temp.

or if you're on vodafone sim only like me, ring up vodafone and ask them to send you a micro sim.
Mine has been posted and should have by Monday

I'm on 3. They should have their MicroSIM's soon but since they haven't given any details yet and CS are clueless, I'll be cutting down for now.

If you have some kind of confirmation you can print out then they might. The guy in the O2 shop said that they would be sending sims to those who registered interest online on Tuesday/Wed next week, but couldn't guarantee one for everyone. If not then when you pick up your phone from Apple just walk to the nearest O2 shop with it and you'll get one.

Thanks mate :)

I didn't think I'd get chance to call O2 on the way to work...which is why I asked earlier rather than just calling...but I did.

The very pleasant guy I spoke to said that a reservation confirmation should be fine, and that they won't be being too stingy with the micro-sims, as they expected to have plenty. He said a batch of 50,000 are being sent out over the weekend to people who registered interest.

Hey if youve reserved a phone on PAYG, and if they make you get it locked to a network can you just request it sim free? Im sure it said this somewhere but i cant find it :(

What i mean is when you reserve it they ask for payg/paymonthly or sim free

Can you change this instore? I want it simfree plus i dont want it opened in store as i want to do an unboxin video :D
