Ok thanks. What is my quickest route to get any payg micro sim, as its unlocked. Preferably o2 or orange.

o2 are having them on monday, sending them out on tuesday for people signed up for interest but there is more chance with the monday, some people have theirs from orange but I'm not sure if they are giving them to people when they go in store

i probably will sooner or later, but for now i just wanted a fully working phone on thursday when i get it.........so i just wanted to stay where i was for a bit.....but when the madness has all calmed down, i'll assess my future dealings later.........but i do go to the cinema a lot and i will miss orange 2 for 1 wednesdays if i leave.....save a shed load on that!

cool, ahaha true :), I have a spare orange sim on me just for that lol :D

NO. You can use the iPad microsim as long as you want to use it as pay as you go. I managed to transfer my number to the iPad micro simcard. I have been using it for 3 days, making and receiving calls, topped up and sent text messages. So it works for sure!!!

£30 per month, for 24 months. :) Good deal for me, as I don't need many texts or minutes.

good luck with the contract, I heard orange are the most expensive aren't they? would you not rather get the phone from apple and then go on a sim only plan? sorry if that sounds rude btw, its not meant to be :) damnnnn why can't text have emotion lol

oh sorry I thought you meant contract :) and I didn't know you had transferred your number, otherwise it does work. I have heard it might not for contract though

Great stuff. Can i get one sent out online, or do i have to go in store?

If you swap providers why not buy an Orange P&G SIM and leave a tenner on it in an old phone to keep your 2 for 1's running. Or do they not work in a P&G? (I don't know, Haven't been on Orange for a while).

that's exactly what I do, get the benefits of 2 for 1 and cheap plan on 3 :)

To Confirm:

The iPAD minisim WILL NOT work in the iPhone. Just because you ported a voice sim over to the iPAD minisim does not mean it will work in the iPhone.

Orange are the only people with solid 3G in my area, apart from 3. ;) O2 is non-existant, and Vodafone is patchy.

I ordered mine online but that was ages ago (before they introduced the iPhone). I am not sure if you can manage to get one sent soon, you can always try online and in store...

Based on what are you saying that?????????!!! Did you try it in the iPhone 4????????????? The microsim is working perfectly with the iPhone 3gs, so i cant see why it wont with the iPhone 4. It also works perfectly with the nokia e71.
Please tell me how did you get to this conclusion!!!????

how comes you don't get the phone from apple, then go on the 3 sim only plan where you get 300 mins, unlimited texts, unlimited internet - can't remember what the fair use limit is, free 3-3, free:twitter, msn, skype, voicemail... all for £15 a month 30 day rolling contract :) :)

Your coverage sounds exactly like mine lol :p

 um, your wrong pal. If you have an un-registered iPad sim and sim swap from PAYG to it then it WILL WORK fine in iPhone 4.

it used to be £15 for 200 mins and unlimited texts........30 days rolling contract.....i added a £5 bolt on for 500 meg data.........but with the iphone i need to scrap that and add a £10 data plan which gives me unlimited data (fair usage if 750 meg but wont charge me if i go over.....unless of constant repeat offences i guess)

so yea now i'm paying £25 a month for 200 mins unlimited texts and unlimited data......but i dont think i'll stay on it for long cos o2 is cheaper although they dont have unlimited data now.
I just signed up for o2 12 month simplicity. £20pm, unlimited texts and data (fair usage applies). For £15pm you get the same but 300 mins. The data bit changes if you sign up from the 24th June though.

I'm only paying for handset, so £269, parents are paying monthly fee, so the 330 per month. My Dad doesn't seem to understand the prospect of paying for it upfront, and then going on another 'contract' in his words, when you can get the handset cheaper on a Pay Monthly.

Not too bad. We're existing Orange customers, with my Mum having a 3GS. I told her to wait, but no, she couldn't. :D

I just hope some network would offer iphone 4 on PAYG with 12 months free internet (hopefully unlimited but seems unlikely...) just like O2's on 3GS. It's a shame that O2 won't do it with iPhone 4 upfront this time. Since I have another contract on Blackberry with plenty mins and txt, all I need iPhone 4 for is data. Any suggestion guys?
