You would think that after 3 years Apple would be well prepared for such an event but clearly not. Either they need to pull their finger out or perhaps it's just to create even more hype?? If it's the latter then that's just ridiculous! This isn't the second coming nor is it the return of Elvis or Michael Jackson. And why is Apple mum on the whole issue??
I won't be one of the suckers buying the iPhone 4 straight away (remember what happened to the first lot back in '07?). I've reluctantly decided to wait until my contract is up next March. I'm eligible for an upgrade in September but it would mean being stuck with O2 for another 2 years and I'm not happy with their 3G performance and overall network reliability. Right now my options are limited but next March they'll be wide open - I can choose from Vodafone, Orange, T-Mobile, 3 and even Virgin may come on board; and I'm sure by then visual voicemail will be available on the other networks. Plus I'm sure by March they'll be talk of the iPhone 4S with 512MB memory and 64GB storage so the old adage rings true: Good things come to those who wait!
