Honestly, I don't think anyone's going to be getting any white iPhones on Thursday. CPW still have them as an option on their website but if you speak to them, they'll tell you that they're getting no white iPhones.
Stating you go to Oxford University is hardly pretentious. My location used to say "Brighton / University of Nottingham", then "Sussex Uni". I guess anyone that goes to Notts or Sussex is also pretentious.

How did you get O2 to let you pre-order? Whenever I try and ask them I just get the same answer 'we know nothing.'
O2 are phoning their gold/platinum customers who pre-registered interest to buy it on day one.
They're kinda like "Well you're gonna get it. So stay at home, let the stores handle everyone else, give us your money now!"

I'm a platinum user and they contacted me, signed me up for my new contract ect as i'm due a upgrade & said it'll be with me on the 24th..
i'm guessing theres more then just me getting this service.

As stated previously, I resat the M1 and M3 exam. If you really wish, I will reproduce my AS provisional certificate.

I did not gain a mark which I felt suited the work I put in. For the course I had chosen, further mathematics wasn't a requirement, however, only mathematics was required. During the application stage, I had no intention of resitting M1 and M3, since the UMS totalled an A grade (though it was only just inside the A-grade boundary).
i've got a 32gb black reserved and plan on getting it on a vodafone contract, does anyone know what kind of insurance is offered if i get the phone from apple, i know vodafone offer insurance for around 15quid ....but will i be able to get the same cover at the apple store?? or even from vodafone, even though i'll be buying it at an apple store ?
Ah, the joys of Further Maths. The single most useful thing I ever took whilst at school. I use the stuff I learnt in that A-Level every day. To think the main reason I took it originally was because it gave me four extra free periods than any other A-Level!!

I will be buying an iPhone 4 in the States and unlock it for a six-week trip to London. I have an active iPhone 3G PAYG account with o2 that gives me unlimited web and wifi for £10/month. Does anyone know if I can just cut down my current o2 sim and keep the plan, or will o2 force me to upgrade?

I don't know if O2 are forcing PAYG customers onto the new tariffs or not but you'll definitely be able to cut your sim down if you take care - it'll be a fair bit easier for you since you'll already have an AT&T microsim to size up as a template.
However, I thought all US phones were sold locked to AT&T and that they're a pain in the backside to unlock unless they're jailbreaked and a special unlock tool is out? Neither of which is currently possible with iOS 4 or iPhone 4 as far as I know. Or are you just planning on waiting a month or two in hope that they'll be cracked?
