Spoke To Various Car Phone Warehouse Stores And They Advised They Expect White In Stock But Limited

What Is Going On, Who To Believe, Its Stressing Me Out, Why All The Secrecy, Anyone Think They Did Not Want To Sell The Phones

Gonna Call All Back In The Afternoon Tomorrow As Most Said They Will Tell Me What Stock They Have

Just got a text from Carphone Warehouse to let me know that stock is very limited. They say they will email me tomorrow to let me know which stores will have initial stock so possibly not all stores will have stock at launch?

I hope not. Based on the information provided by loads of people in this thread I've went and signed up for the 30 day Simplicity thinking they can't change what I get after I've signed up for it.

Oh well, at least it can be cancelled easily since it's a 30 day thing and my iPhone will be unlocked. Speaking of the iPhone, I've just checked and it still hasn't shipped yet even though it's only a couple of days away... I take it I'm not the only one?

I have just received a call from Phones4U and they have pretty much confirmed that no white iPhones will be delivered (which we all knew and I told him) and that white iPhones will be replaced with black ones.

As always, I am taking this with a pinch of salt and waiting until I get confirmation from him tomorrow. Also, I am hoping CPW come through with their pre orders.

I'm quite sure they'll be changing the terms for people signed up to 30 day contracts to coincide with their new tariffs as of October. It's on the o2 site iirc.


However, I could be dreadfully wrong ;P And, with this heat, I can't be bothered to go look for it.

Also haven't had mine shipped, but logging in via the US store, it says it's being prepared.

I am on contract with orange (non-iphone contract) till feb 2011, and I would like to get a micro-sim card for my contract to use on my iphone 4. Does anyone know if this is possible? As i have bought an iphone 3g and used that before on my contract (but that took regular sims).
I have called orange many times, getting totally different answers from people there and they don't seem to have any idea what is going on.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Do you know anything about orange and micro-sims for current non-iphone contracts?

Let me be clear - it's the monthly rolling O2 iPhone simplicity 20 - no lock in for me "presently".

I had the same problem as you, and I swiftly switched onto the iPhone Simplicity contract but for 12 months. So, I save a fiver a month, and hopefully I'll have unlimited data for at least that time.

I also haven't been sent one in the post like they promised. Apparently it was the first 50,000 people only. Do what I did and head down to any O2 store with a copy of the email Apple sent to confirm your order(s) and pick one up - it's an official service from O2, so they should give you one if they haven't already given them all out now. Make sure it's appropriate to the type of contract/tariff you're on, though. There's two options - PAYG or Pay Monthly/Business.

That's the problem!

I didn't go yesterday as I'd put my name down on the O2 website as-soon as it went up, so was expecting one in the post yesterday or today (and everyone here was saying how they had to tell the O2 stores yesterday what a Micro-SIM is!), but it hasn't come.

So off I went to the O2 store at lunch today...... "All gone, expecting more on Thursday".

I have, they said they don't have any to give and to call up '150' to tlk to orange to get one. Which i have like 10 times.
They're all retards i swear.
One guy was adamant that the iphone 4 didn't take microsim and my standard sim would work perfectly.
