Yes - but not from the store. Vodafone call centre called yesterday and I've put an order in for one of the two that I wanted (black - other one is white). Waiting until tomorrow when Vodafone store said they'd be receiving stock and allocating it in order, then phoning people to confirm availability of required phone. If they get white, I'll have one, otherwise I'll be waiting for information on availability before I decide what to do.

Over the phone, I thought you could only get them in store?

oh cool so I could be getting my call tomorrow good stuff I hope I'm able to reserve I don't fancy the idea of getting up quite early for this phone lol

Yeah do tell how you managed this, one of my friends dad pays his contract, he know all the account details is dad says its okay for him to upgrade to the iPhone 4, but he can't do it over the phone and he can't do it in store as his Dad needs to be there, the problem with that is his dad now works in Morocco most of the year! He's frantically calling O2 stores and O2 customer services to see how he can get upgraded!

I rang o2 today trying my hardest to get them to deliver me one on Thursday, but they said this wasn't happening at all when it clearly is.
 
Mine's prepared for shipment now for 24th june delivery on us site, ordered 6.35pm uk time.....still says not shipped on uk site.

I went into the CPWH today and was asking for a friend they said they would upgrade a pay n go to contract, he even said just to go and buy a pay n go sim now and that would be a way around it on Thursday! Its worth going into your local store tomorrow and asking. I find that they guys there are more sales driven and will do anything for a sale! It's worth a shot!

Sorry but O2 are not doing any pre-orders so I'm not really sure that you are telling the truth... :p

I'l give them a ring tomorrow, if they have stock that is! Also do you think I'd be able to get one online from CPWH if they're released for online sales on Thursday? (For a new contract that is)

I got a little stroppy with them as well lol! The woman started talking me into keeping my sim only deal and selling a PAYG dongle for £10 :S that got me into another rant about just using tethering and not a dongle haha
 
Does anyone know about Vodafones 'unlimited' text policy? Their website states a fair usage of 3000 texts per month, but I currently use approx 4000 (my gf is a big texter) and I have had no issues with o2 with that limit. I am worried that if I move to Vodafone then then they will bill me for the extra texts.

I signed up for a Vodafone 30 day sim-only account today, and the rep checked on his system and said the micro-sims were not showing. He even commented that an iPad sim will not work.

He will be ringing me back to finalise things when he has the IP4 sims.

However, just to be sure, I picked up an O2 micro-sim today, to keep all bases covered.

I got the same call they said you have been pre-selected as you are due for upgrade and registered your intrest. I am told the phone will land on my matt on Thursday. Insurance however has gone up to £15 a month and £100 on 1st loss £125 on 2nd and £150 on 3rd.

Out of intrest I am on F&F discount (30%) on a £45 a month contract but regularly run up bills of £300+ a month when I work abroad and use it for work calls.
 
Hello I found my order status is : Prepared for shipping now! Yay!

However I am just wondering has apple held the money in your bank account after pre-ordered?

cos i couldn't check my account online!!!
