Still says 25th for me

I am now able to track the delivery on UPS, couldn't before. It looks as though, for some UPS deliveries, that they're going to be picked up today, as the billing information has just been received by UPS. Have to wait and see, will post any further information soon. Starting to get a tad OCD about this now...

For those of you, who want to find your UPS tracking no. Go to the Apple.com (US) site - the UK site doesn't provide that information. Login and it will show you the UPS tracking number, then go to www.ups.com/uk and enter the tracking number there. This is far more accurate that the Apple tracking system, that links to the courier - half the time it's not updated very quickly.

It still says this on the Apple UK site;

So will have to wait and see. One thing is for sure, it won't today - I would imagine this being the case with many on UPS. Sure, one or two maybe lucky and have them early, but as one other person said; if UPS were actually delivering some today, we'd hear more than just one or two saying they had their phones... especially with it being the day before launch!

Ordered my phone at 11am on 15 June 2010. I just spoke to UPS and they said that Apple have printed my address label but they still haven't given UPS the item!? What is that all about? I was hoping Cardiff were going to receive them today. Have people really received their phones already?

That's about the same for most of us. You'll get it tomorrow.

Does anyone know if you can use O2 sims in tesco mobiles? If not, can you get O2 to unlock the iPhone for you?

I think, don't hold me to it, I had a tesco mobile phone about 5 years ago, but I think you can.

Fyi, if anyone was planning on getting one from either of the Orange stores in Dundee tomorrow, don't bother. Phoned them both:

Overgate store got 7 16GB's and 1 32GB.
Murraygate store got 2 16GB's and no 32GB's.

I have to be in work by 9am, and the Overgate store doesn't open until 9. Murraygate opens at 8am, but they got no 32GB's.

Basically, I don't have a chance of getting one tomorrow.

Just got off the phone to Tesco, and they're not selling PAYG phones tomorrow, only contracts.

Is anyone other than Apple selling PAYG?

Tesco runs on O2's network. I'm sticking with O2 as the path of least resistance. Tesco's USP is the shorter 12-month contract, other than that not a lot in it, although data is better then O2 at 1GB. Don't know where the link is on their site but these are the images from the email message my colleague at work got this morning.

BTW - O2 store at Tottenham Hale retail park is opening from 6am until midnight and they claim to have 'lots of stock'.

If you subtract the phone subsidy (£599-£299=£300) from the £35 12 month contract then it works out that you get 750 minutes, unlimited texts and 1GB data for £10 per month! Plus of course you get the 1000 clubcard points on signup and triple points on your monthly bills. That easily beats every other iPhone contract and is probably better than most non-iPhone contracts.

Only thing to remember with Tesco Mobile though is that they don't do visual voicemail (yet?) nor, if i recall correctly, do they do call merging.

Where are iPhone 4 orders ordered from apple.com being dispatched from, the warehouse in the UK or Holland?

I've just checked tracking through the UPS API and it says it was shipped from Walsh Western in Hinckley, Leicestershire. Seems correct as this was the same address on my 2G's shipping label.

...just in case it is, I called o2 to verfiy I had 7-day cooling off period from my Simplicity 12m plan. Apparently I have 14-day cooling off period.

At this rate, I'll be holding off from buy the reserved handset at WestQuay as, AFICT, I'd be saving £170 on the handset, in exchange for 1Gb vs "Unlimited" data.

If you REALLY need a iphone4 there should be one spare at WestQuay AppleStore on Friday morning.

looks like i'm not getting the iphone tomorrow with o2, my order is still 'in progress' meaning its OUT OF STOCK

So, if your on o2 and have a order number and its 'in progress' looks like your not getting the iphone tomorrow & they have no idea when they'll get more stock.. maybe next week, or next month. o2 said they'll send me a Text to let me know when its being delivered..

either way, i'm gonna be ringing them everyday till i get my hands on the phone..

Micro-SIM

Guys, as hard as I tried, can't keep up with this thread

I'm sure this has probably been answered before... I just received an O2 micro-SIM, it arrived in the post, I've been anxiously waiting since Monday, as I've registered for O2 updates pretty early on.

So I eagerly opened the envelope, and now I'm not sure I've been sent the correct thing.

On the packaging, it says "O2 Mobile Broadband, Micro SIM for Apple iPad", and in the corner it says "Pay & Go".

Did they send me a wrong SIM, and if so, is there a way of getting around the problem, or is it useless to me?

I think you've just got to wait until they try again. Some guy on here said he missed a call yesterday early afternoon and I think they called back at 9pm. You could try calling the number back that they called you from I guess since it's not a withheld number but chances are it won't work.

Yes! Just got a call from O2. 16GB Black iPhone 4 will be delivered to me tomorrow.

This is a straight upgrade as I'm with O2 and my contract expired in April.
