My local Vodafone has theirs (it's a city centre shop though) and said they had more than 60 and were expecting more tomorrow. Had both 16 and 32, but no white til mid-July.

Tesco!

Ok ..

I just got off the phone with them .. the prices are genuine and they are in the process of updating the website at the moment with them. The man I spoke with said that he'd literally been handed a piece of paper with the prices on 15 minutes ago!

They will be available for order tomorrow and if you order before 12noon they will be delivered on Friday.

They will have PAYG phones available but only via their website. The pay monthly ones can be ordered from website OR by phone.

I asked if they are aware of any shortages with their own stock and the exact words were 'definitely not'

I was going to ditch O2 as their 3G coverage has been patchy for the years I've had the iPhone but these prices are too good to ignore.

Tesco here I come!

PS! .. they will be available in some stores also but I didn't really need info on that as my nearest store is 50 miles away!
 
UPS Update?

I'm in Edinburgh and my UPS tracking status still shows 'Billing Information Received' I spoke to UPS and my iPhone could be picked up anytime up until 7pm this evening.

I'm becoming slightly concerned....Does anyone else have a similar status?

I am in North Berwick and have the same status - I am sure it will come tomorrow!

So have they said you are able to visit the depot and collect....??

I'm just south of Glasgow and mine is the same. Although if I can get a Tesco Pay & Go on their site tomorrow it will be going back anyway.

dont worry about that, ups runs though the night, so if they pick it up at 7pm from the main depot or where ever they will be taken to the local depot thoughout the night, so it will still be delivered 2morrow,
 
Has there been any sort of indication of the number of phones that Apple Stores will be getting for customers without reservations? Just wondering if its worthwhile trying a trip to the Glasgow Store tomorrow morning or not.

Thanks for your responses.....- please do post when your shipping status changes, just so I can have a wee look and see if I'm on track...I'm off on holiday on Friday so really can't afford any delays

What details did they need off you to do the upgrade?

I had a phone call earlier from them when I was on the train and it bloody cut off when I went through a tunnel so I can't ring back :mad: Just hope they will ring me back again.

Face it, many English folk can't stand football. Never understood why straight blokes enjoy watching semi naked men get muddy chasing a lump of leather round a field. Closet issues maybe?
