thanks. does that work when you track via the TNT site?

Mine doesn't, in either Consignment or Reference number, but it will eventually. I've put both options into Deliveries to track - one of them will start working sooner or later.

my order is for the 2nd,

can i got the apple store tomorow or friday or the weekend and get one? would they accept my pre order confirmation or do i just buy it and then cancel the pre order?

They won't accept your online pre-order as any kind of guarantee for a unit at an Apple Store, it's different stock. If you're desperate to get one tomorrow then you'll have to queue in the unreserved line and then cancel your online order if you're lucky enough to get your hands on one.

Do we have word of any queues starting yet in the UK?

Just received my GG sims today...... I dont quite understand the packages though!

When you buy the £10 package do you get 100 minutes/unlimited texts/unlimited 3g and £10 credit?

You need to buy a £10 goodybag. Any extra credit (it seems you currently have to top up with at least £10 before you can buy your first goodybag!) can be used for premium rate numbers etc. Or indeed to swap for another goodybag.

Also, i noticed that they are withdrawing the free internet soon???

That's not the internet service you get through the goodybag; that's the service all users used to get anyway.

The way it works is like this - you can top up £10 to buy a goodybag with inclusive minutes, unlimited texts and data, and that lasts for a month. If you prefer not to get a goodybag every month you can just use your top up as any other PAYG and only pay for what you use. Free Internet ending this month only applies to those not using a goodybag. Of course you can also buy a goodybag, and have credit at the same time, in case you go over your minutes for example.

Edit: ah tirk beat me to it ;)

Don't snap the microsim out, just the larger sim that it's sitting in. Pop that in your current phone once you've done the swapmysim stuff and your old sim has gone dead, and then when you get your iPhone 4 and you're ready to make the switch, pop the microsim out of the larger piece.

Excellent...all done - new micro sim working in my old iPhone. Thanks

Yes it didnt earlier but it does now. However under status it say please call. Dunno what thats about.

It's like being back in the iPad release day thread all over again...

Pretty sure you don't really need to call, it's just an automated thing that comes up unnecessarily. But you could call just in case they've really just dropped the case with yours in it and driven over it by mistake...

Just got a call from Carphone Warehouse in Bromley (High Street). It appears the High Street stores have 2 32gb phones and 7 16gb phones while the CPW in the Glades has 2 32gb and 12 16gb phones. As I have been watching the tennis, there's a good chance I might have mixed those numbers around (wasn't 100% concentrating on the phone call) but either way, only 4 32gb iPhones from CPW in Bromley. First come first serve btw.

I think my plan will be turn up really early tomorrow to Apple store, see if they have white, if they do, get white on orange/o2 paymonthly and forget about the rest.

If they only have black, go home, see if I can order tesco mobile black one or decide if I should wait for tesco to stock the white 32gb

the £45 a month contract is so much better than anyone else's it's unreal

Signed up for iPhone Simplicity today and was given a microsim and told to go to swapmysim.o2.co.uk

Gone there, put in new number, and it's saying it's not recognised.

Any ideas?

ok this is how giffgaff works

you top up £10 you then buy the £10 gooddy bag which will bring your credit down to 0, but you will have the 100min unlimited text and internet

I am in the same predicament but mine was transferred over from orange to o2 on a 12 month simplicity.

Speaking to o2 earlier they said after 6.00pm it should recognise the new number maybe it is the same for you and it's not updated properly on their systems yet?

For £15 (on a 12 month contract, granted) I get 300 minutes and the same texts and internet from O2's simplicity...

If it is still like that at about 10 o'clock tomorrow morning then i'll call.

Bare in mind that the Tesco £45 contract is a 24 month contract.
