So i had to miss the first half of the england game to go out of my way to get to an O2 store and pick one up!

That one worked out fine and new sim worked within 1 or 2 minutes!

Roll on tomorrow with the iPhone 4 delivery!

O2 are useless, I pre-registered and never even got sent a Micro Sim. I see you're in Nottingham, you might have been in just before me if you went to the Listergate O2 store near Broadmarsh! I got in there literally 10 seconds before they locked the door, I didn't realise they were closing at 4pm!

Give it time. Think of how many deliveries have to be scanned. I'd only be worried if it hasn't updated by tomorrow morning.
 
Anyone know what you should take with you to a vodafone shop?


All my new contracts have been online so no proof needed other than 1 at earphone whore house where they didn't take any proof at all, just swiped my debit card and away I went

I hope so!!!!! We always have to pass through all this frustration with Apple. anyway ill wait and see. any one still having billing information received only????

All Vodafone stores are opening at 10:30 and will have at least 100 of each size capacity phone in stock, so no need to rush, just pop along when you fancy. Honest.;)

My UPS order is showing the same status but I'm hopeful it'll change later tonight. Apple have yet to collect the payment from my bank account though.
 
Did anyone receive their iPhone from TNT today? Been at work all day and only just got home - wondered if I've missed anything!

Same here but ive got to the stage where I not too bothered, if it arrives tomorrow great if not no big deal.

my delivery date has changed from 28 th to the 25th. Its currently tracked in Tamworth, so i might actually get it tomorrow. Apple aint taken the cash from my account yet.

I will be walking past the Apple shop soon, might go hand out some soup to the queuer uppers!

Well apart from those of us on O2.... when it's about the same speed as Dial-Up and the 3G icon is pretty rare!

i know whiter you mean, they sent me a pay and go one. I have to hope that tomorrow I can get one at the o2 store.
 
Some people have been posting that for reserve and collect tomorrow you can only pick up the selection you made. e.g if you selected contract then you can only have a contract one and likewise if you selected sim free you can only have a sim free one. anyone know anything different to this.

That's good news, fingers crossed my shipment is in transit later tonight. It's for my brother anyway, I let him take my pre-order and I'm collecting my reservation from my local Apple store in the morning.
 
CARPHONE WAREHOUSE IMPORTANT UPDATE

I just called CPW to check on my preorder that they took early this afternoon since I hadn't received an order number or tracking number or anything like that.

It turns out CPW have sold way more phones than Apple have given them so nearly all of their preorders have now been cancelled. They're apparently trying to call everyone to let them know but they have about 49000 preorders that have been cancelled.

In a word, it looks like we're buggered. If you've got a preorder with CPW I recommend you call them up and check now.

O2 said.....

I know people are saying different things but an O2 CS person just said that even if you use a 3GS iphone contract sim in your iphone4 they will know and require you to change to one for an ip4 contract therefore loosing your unlimited wi-fi.

Has anyone else heard this? Or has any actual evidence that they wouldnt be able to tell?

I'll probably ring again in a bit to speak to someone else and see what they say.
