QUESTION:

Does anyone know if the Apple Stores can process o2's early upgrade offer?

I have a reservation but don't want to travel to London and get told 'No, we can't do it'

:( Anyone?

went to Tesco Cheshunt @ 8.30. Third in queue and got myself a 32gb iPhone 4 :D

They only had 4x 32gb and 16x 16gb in store....

They do not have access to the pre-existing contract. So they would not be able to confirm anythiong. Also, due to Data Protection, they would not allow them to have access to such information.

So how can they process the normal upgrades then? They say they can do that.

Ah forgot to mention.

The reservation queue at the Trafford Centre doubled in size in the space of 30 minutes after me joining it. It took me 2 hour 20 minutes to get into the shop.

If you are planning on going to Trafford Centre I don't know what to advise because it may get better, it may get worse who knows!

Any mention of stock levels there i have reservation but cannot get there till later

Apple Store Trafford said they could do them, even the early upgrades. We bought Sim Free, but there were a couple next to us going through an early upgrade.

That's funny.

when the Apple guy asked the guys in front of me wether they are having Sim Free or Contract upgrades he didn't seem to have a problem when they replied they were upgrading contracts.

I'd just check though before you head to any Apple shop.

I was at Apple Trafford btw just like the poster in front of me!

Okay... so this is slightly off topic... but at the same time on topic :p

ppl have mentioned for ages now on this thread that half way through a contract you can reduce the plan... and I'm slightly ashamed that I only just put two and two together, but I wanna do that for my blackberry so I can use my iPhone as my main phone...

anywho, so my questions are...

does this reducing/changing the plan half way through the contract work for any phone? (what I understand is that it is the law, so it means that yes it would work for any phone/mobile contract)

and when did this start being included in the contracts cuz my blackberry is just over a year old now, so if they only started that contracts can be changed recently, then i might not be able too...

anywho, thanks for any info anyone might have :)
