Any new news on the Tesco situation.

I popped in today and was told they "might" get some tomorrow but advise me to phone first because they "might not" be getting some, but they will be getting some in the "near" future.....

Still no word from T-Mobile yet either??

Not sure if this has been posted yet but here are the T-Mobile tariffs for anyone that wanted to know them, personally I am very disappointed and come Monday I will be requesting my PAC from and moving else where.

don't expect them to have stock anytime soon because they are getting the Phones from Orange and they can't even supply enough for themselves.

What makes you say they are getting them from Orange??

I've lost my faith in T-Mobile tbh, I have been with them for over six years now and sung them praises to friends and family but they just seem to disappoint over and over again when it comes to new phones and upgrades..... the only thing keeping me there is my 50% discount, my Flext35 Tariff with Wn'W and that I get 3.5G all the time where I live/work.....

I queued up in Leicester on the 24th for 2 x 32GB, but they ran out. I think I was about 15th on the priority list.

Finally got my email yesterday saying one was waiting and I had until 5pm today to pick it up :) Picked it up, still waiting for the 2nd though :)

Love the screen, but surprised how much the death grip problem is affecting me.

Ok, my 3 micro-SIMs are with me. Unimpressed right now, I can't actually find the PAYG details, i.e tariff breakdown. I assume it's 3Pay- then this. Not very impressive prices.

Duuude....

www.giffgaff.com <---- Unlimited Data (no fair use), Unlimited Texts, 100 mins for £5 top up. No contract. I cut up a free sim, and it is working on my new iphone 4! If you don't pay £5 top up (more mins if u pay more), you get 100mb data a day and 4p a text, and some other really cheap stuff.

This is da biz man.

p.s. Their sim is really cool.

p.s.s. They run on the O2 network, so make sure u have reception in your area.

P.s.s.s. You can use an O2 top up voucher but u call a different number

P.s.s.s.s. It shows O2 UK in the carrier area

Final Thought, I hope i don't get in trouble for "advertising" i have no connection with these people and others on this forum have recommended me to it. They encourage recommendations! Peace

Like a little bit of hard plastic popping out in a seam in the middle of the bumper? Pics? detailed explanation?
SORRY DOUBLE POST

If I had the cash I would buy an iPhone 4 outright and try these, even though they use the O2 network!

Sim Free iPhone + Giffgaff top ups whenever you want =/= contract with someone who limits data and charges for everything

If someone could calculate the pros and cons and cost after 24 months, that would be great...

From the giffgaff website.

*giffgaff is offering Free Mobile Internet until the 1st of October 2010.

After which, it's £3 per MB.

SORRY DOUBLE POST

Yeah, like a bit of left over plastic from the moulding process, I'll try and get pics of the phone, but the bumper I've smoothed off now. it's not life changing but I don't see why your phone should get damaged by a bumper!!!!!

From the giffgaff website.

After which, it's £3 per MB.

Where does it say that?

I found this on the website:
Free Mobile Internet:
You lucky giffgaff pioneers can even enjoy free UK mobile Internet up to the 1st of October 2010. After that date, mobile Internet will be charged at 50p a day (if you use less than 2.5MB/day you'll pay less than 50p and if you go over 30MB you'll be charged extra at 20p/MB).

Picking up on a couple of recent topics....

Giffgaff is an awesome deal. Truly unlimited data (no tethering though!) for £10 per month. Really easy to deal with too.

T-mobile (who I've used for years for my company) does have one remaining edge - they have the best EU data roaming prices by far.

My advice for iPhone users would be to use the unlimited data goody bags, once the 1st October free PAYG internet deal passes.

No news really. Apple have promised a software fix. No sign as yet. Generally everyone is a bit sceptical that this will resolve the problem.

Hmmmmm, wonder what's next then!? I guess due to the fact that now everyone has had the iPhone 4 a while they will hope people will percevier (prob spelt wrong) with this problem.

Reception is definatly showing really poor at the moment, but everything else about the phone and that screen make me noe want to go back to my 3G. Very surpriised an update hasn't been released just yet.

Am guessing they don't want to try pull wool over our eyes and make it display more bars than you actually have and realise it's a hardware fault so is proving a little trickier to come up with a soloution. In the meantime as everyone waits, more iPhones are being sold.
