Orange already have a limit of 750mb for 3G and Wifi each, though the Wifi is only BTopenair, and cloud, so I don't know if that means your limited in your home or not. Someone will be able to tell me. Anyway the point is Orange don't have unlimited data usage policies to drop.

You aren't limited at home

How do we go about getting Micro sims, if we purchase an iPhone 4 through eBay? for example.

If Orange keep it at 750mb limited I will be happy as the chances of me going over that are very slim anyway.

Good thing I am on a 30 day rolling contract with them so can easily change networks although I would not really want to as they have been good so far and their magic numbers too is pretty cool.

I meant they have not released the price of the phone on a contract or the cost of the PAYG phone?

I guess it will be the same, but everyone thought that about the tariffs also.

Nope, but the PAYG price isn't subsidised, so you can bet it'll be over >£400, probably pushing £500.

I think I'm leaning towards a simplicity sim. Probably the 12 month. I'm still paying my 3g contract despite it finishing in January. I kept it incase it would help with getting this one cheaper/quicker/more easily. Doesn't look like it will.

I've signed up for the £20pm. Double minutes and £15 a month less than I currently pay. Will ring tomorrow to cancel my contract and transfer my number. Pay and go iphone4 here I come :D

And at least you have all of us to brag to with your every post.

Now why would i do that. I am a 42 yr old law student and not a 12 yr old child, all I have been doing is passing on info and exchanging opinions. Thought thats what forums were for.

May well still leave o2, purely because I had to call on someone I know to sort out an issue that their customer services should have done anyway. Seems that they have no loyalty to their long standing customers at all. :):)

Ive made a spreadsheet based on a mix of things.

Its got O2's newest tariffs but the 3GS phone prices. Its also got Orange and Vodafones current tariffs against the 3GS.

http://bit.ly/dqmdsn

Its located on my dropbox, so its constantly being updated as more information comes out.

Its also set up to filter, so you can open the spreadsheet up, click on the dropdown box of which phone you want, monthly price, or choose to arrange by how many minutes you get etc.

Quite good to see all the deals on one page and easy to compare.

O2 simplicity is in there as well basing it on 3GS prices for phone, but with the new tariffs from today.

Anyone know how the network transfers your mobile number to the micro sim. Does that mean the normal sim doesn't function anymore :(

I doubt if they let you buy the £45 per month contract the phone will be £59 one off.

I'm highly doubting this, where did this infomation come from?

All information comes from the Networks.

For that one you are asking about - http://shop.o2.co.uk/promo/iphoneindex

Scroll down to £45 per month and you can see it.

Remember, all information in my spreadsheet here - http://bit.ly/dqmdsn - is based on 3GS prices, but when the new tariffs are available, they will be put in. This is purely for a guide only to give you an idea what you can expect.

When Orange, Vodafone, T-Mobile, Virgin and 3 announce their prices, ill put it in there!
