Carrier The Verizon iPhone X Pre-Order and Dispatch Thread

I made the Best Buy order sent to my home and didn’t select pick up at store. Picking up at the store causes issues as they don’t always have the phone in stock at the stores. I was assured by customer service I was to get it on the 3rd, especially since I ordered within a minute of pre lrders going live. I got the 256 Space Gray Model :)

I had a kinda similar experience on this. I'm confused about it, because when i ordered my wife's phone, I didn't get the "value your current phone" screen. It was a different flow. I also was somehow able to order two phones for her on the same line, which I don't get how that works. But i'm not going to mess with it...I assume this will sort itself out in the wash.
 
When I ordered it said there was a 30 day return window with no $35 restocking fee, of course now I don’t see that, just the typical 14 day/$35 fee.

Anyone else see it and capture it ?
 
Ordered silver 256gb iPhone X and received confirmation email at 3:01 with 11/3 delivery date. Can’t wait. Didn’t know if I could get the $300 or if it’s too late now.

From my understanding, the phone being traded in must be clear of any contract. Simply trading in at the 12 month (1/2 way point) of the 2 year payout is an option that allows more frequent upgrades but you don't get any additional credit for it since you are no longer making the remaining 12 months of contractually obligated payments on it (it is now done on the new device). You CAN pay out the remaining contract and get $300 back, but if you owe $452 it's kind of stupid to do.

Yes. Seems like they have been charging the $30 + tax at checkout. Some folks have found out that once the phone it activated, they will credit your Verizon account for the $30.
 
Messed my first order up (wrong color) cancelled upgrade wasn't available on the line so I upgraded another line then tried the original line got to checkout and got an error. Woke up to a second email conf so have 11/3 and 11/10 dates better than nothing
 
Is there any issue with ordering 3 phones (all paid in full) choosing the same line for the purchase? I am guessing that if someone were to actually use all 3 you would just have an extra line access fee monthly for each? I needed two phones but somehow pre-ordered 3 when rushing through everything. Will all three likely go through?

Their Support and Customer Service is always able to help me and it is pretty consistent across the board even over to the corporate owned VZW stores. I had ATT and hated it, everytime you had to call you had to tell the automated answer system to go f#$% itself to talk to someone live.

I am worried because my order still says pending. They have not charged my card.
 
Congrats to everyone getting there phone next friday!!! So I pre ordered myself as well as a friend of mine who works at verizon. Both phones will be here next friday. Should I sell one on Ebay, how much do you think they will be going for?
 
So two orders in...

The first is a 256 X - to be delivered by 11/3.

Then my wife's 64 X - to be delivered by 11/15.

I was able to get the $30 activation fees waved, and we still retained our grandfathered in UDP. All in all not terrible.

yes i have a pre-autho on my cc, +1 and -1

no shipping confirmation yet

also read someone said they had their card declined one time, i called discover told them there will be a charge she said shell make a note but its system generated she said bc u have other vz charges on here, you should be fine "knock on wood"

as far as the upgrade fee, i intend to call once i activate the phone or once its shipped, ive had verizon for 13 years
 
Bostonian -

Did you order your 256 off VZ or Apple.
I fudged with VZ but it was not giving me a 256 on any of our lines.

Went to Apple and just ordered it.

Just for schitz and g1ggs, I went online this morning on VZ to see any difference. All I'm getting is 64 options and not 256.
 
I used a debit card and was not charge and pre-auth and no tax/upgrade costs, CS rep told me it won’t charge until shipment

Do you know why my order would say pending and have estimated ship dat 11/3?
