Carrier The Verizon iPhone X Pre-Order and Dispatch Thread

So any idea what happens when you get 2 orders on the same line? I was able to get a Silver 64GB X a few minutes early with the Verizon app. I didn't think the order went through for some reason (app was being glitchy) so I placed another order and I did get a bugged out order complete screen.

I checked the orders section a few minutes ago and it now says I have 2 orders pending, both with a delivery date of 3 November. Anyone been in a similar situation like this before?

Am I the only one that got out before 2am (cst) and still haven't gotten a bank charge?? I haven't gotten $1 charge or a full payment charge, but I did get my email confirmation right away!

Check your order history/status page. As long as you see your order there, you should be golden

VZW website logged on at 11:58 ordered two Silver 256 X phones. Waited until 12:01 to make purchase. Delivery 11/3

This! Wait until you have the phones in hand before you breathe on your VZW account.

When I preordered the 6s all was good on my preorder but I tried to make a change to my wife’s line and the order got cancelled. Learned my lesson fast.

I’m part of the Verizon payment plan and I don’t see a charge yet either. I have the confirmation showing everything correctly so I’m not to worried yet

Yep got email confirmation immediately and my order status says it’s in process.

Still not getting confirmation email, preoeder still showing as pending after I did it via Verizon mobile app 10 mins after midnight. I called couple times, they all told me the order is in the system there's nothing to worry about, could be due to lots of people pre-ordering slow down the system, but people around me all received their emails and solid delivery dates using the same ordering method around the same time. Mine still showing estimate 11/3 delivery date. They reassured me I won't lose my spot in the line, as soon as the system catches up I will get those confirmations.

I'm starting to think the delay could be from me selecting replace existing phone rather than a new phone when I pre-ordered. I still owe $11 dollars on my current phone which I purchased on an amazing deal earlier this week. At the time of the purchase I wanted to pay off but Verizon requires me to finance for at least a month in order to get that deal, that's why I put down the maximum down payment allows and financed $11 for 24 month lol. But in the grand total of the iPhone X they did include this $11 and will charge me for that along with the iPhone when it gets shipped out. That's the only reason I can think of why mine is being delayed. Any thoughts? Following is whats showing on Verizons website.

I am still so stoked that I’m actually getting it 11/3. I kept telling myself it was going to be a massive cluster... but VZW pulled it off. Their pre-order process was great again, as usual. For all of the VZW issues that people have (and I have had) easily getting more money from me has never been a problem.

Question. I got my order through last night and got the 11/3 delivery date. After it went through and I got my confirmation email, I got a text from my bank/credit card warning me of a potential fraudulent charge from Verizon. I responded back that it was me and everything was fine. I don't see any pending charges or authorization charges on my card. I called Verizon and the woman on the phone said I wouldn't be charged anything until the phone ships anyway. Does this sound right or should I be concerned? Thanks.

I placed my order through the site and got confirmation e-mail at 2:58AM EST. Delivery by 11/3 for a 64GB SG. I also haven't received any sort of bank charge but I believe when I went to bed my status said it would ship 11/3 and now it says "delivered by 11/3". But just says processing for now.

The phones come unlocked with a VZW SIM card.

Count me as one assuming it was going to be a cluster and not get it until late December. I went through Verizon this time instead of Apple and this was the smoothest launch I’ve had in a while. ETA for the 3rd and stoked

Just like every year you will see some charges start as early as Sunday or as late as Thursday and be delivered on Friday

Your card is not typically charged until the item ships.

Got and iPhone X, Space Gray, 256GB. Ordered at 2:50 EST, confirmation Email received at 2:55 EST.

This was the best iPhone pre-order experience I have ever had, I have always ordered on the Verizon website. Been Pre-ordering since the iPhone 5. It is usually so slow and crashy. The 5 and 6 I managed to get on launch day. Last year for the 7+ JB 256 it took 30 min to get the order in and then was pushed back a month. This time I had 3 different browsers open and the Verizon App. I was trying them all none stop starting at 2:20am EST. IE I had logged in and was trying the splash page clicking the order now button (would just keep saying come back at 3:01), from Firefox I was logged out and click the order button from the start (this would let me choose the phone configuration but then would kick me back and say come back at 3:01), The app was showing a countdown on the feed the whole time, I was also trying from the device and shop tab in the App starting an upgrade but would always kick back to 3:01, from Chrome I logged in and kept choosing upgrade device and choosing the iPhone X. At first it was kicking me back then at around 2:50 EST it let me add it to the cart while the other methods were still not working. It was a quick smooth process. Took me less than 3 min to complete. I got my confirmation email right after at 2:55 EST before the apple site had even come back up. This was the first pre-order I got lucky and got in before the rush and did not have to fight a laggy crashing site.
