Looking for some help/input

So I used my brothers line which was currently on device payment plan to upgrade to the X.
I will be sending his phone back since it is 50% paid off.

Once the X gets here can I use it on my line and switch the phone currently on my line (iPhone 7) to my brothers line?

I didn’t even see a $1 authorization on my debit card....has me a little concerned
 
Set alarm for 2:00am to give myself time to be alert. Had 3 devices ready to go, website said I could'nt trade in my 7plus, quickly jumped back to app on ipad and done. 256 silver date 11/3. Unfortunatley even though I set up my Amex, it defaulted to my debit card and I am not taking any chances that making any changes might screw up or cause an issue with my order.
 
Do you know why my order would say pending and have estimated ship dat 11/3?

Its just how they do things; mine says the same for both they will ship out monday or tuesday then hold the package at your local fedex facility. They may arrive early to your doorstep but that rarely happens.
 
Am I the only one that got out before 2am (cst) and still haven't gotten a bank charge?? I haven't gotten $1 charge or a full payment charge, but I did get my email confirmation right away!
 
I'm still puzzled as to how I got a 11/15 delivery date for 256gb space gray on verizon.com then i placed another order for another line on my account 10 minutes later and got a delivery date of 11/10. Hopefully they ship earlier but i called and they cant explain how the later one got a better delivery date for same phone
 
chatted with a VZW rep and got the 30 upgrade fee credited back to me. 11/3 delivery date for a 256gb Silver. got in at 2:53am EST and the checkout was smooth! pumped!
Edit: got a confirmation text saying the $30 fee was removed

Just wondering, how do you get that fee back, like what do you say and is it rare they do that or common?

I did receive a call back from the Verizon rep who said he’d call. Unfortunately he was having issues on his side of things.

While I was on the phone I placed my order through Verizon website and was done at around 12:05. However I didn’t receive a confirmation email for nearly two hours.

My buddy happened to be ordering his in store (some stores here were opening at midnight for preorders.). The rep offered to check the status of mine while my buddy was there. The rep confirmed the purchase and I received a confirmation email shortly after 11/3

So.. got my 2 @2:53 EDT 1 space gray the other silver both 256GB and all went fine got my confirmations @ 3:02 except for a couple of notices during the order process!!
First message was line was not eligble (but it was) on both lines then another message that the new phones would not be eligble for the annual upgrade.

Did anyone else see this??

Question. I got my order through last night and got the 11/3 delivery date. After it went through and I got my confirmation email, I got a text from my bank/credit card warning me of a potential fraudulent charge from Verizon. I responded back that it was me and everything was fine. I don't see any pending charges or authorization charges on my card. I called Verizon and the woman on the phone said I wouldn't be charged anything until the phone ships anyway. Does this sound right or should I be concerned? Thanks.
 
I just chatted with Verizon and they told me I will not be charged the upgrade fee and if for some reason I do get charged to let them know and they will issue a bill credit.
 
Woke up at 2:58 to go order it at 3:01 but the site would not work for me. So, I went back to sleep and woke up at 4:50 and tried again and it worked as it should.

Delivery by 11/15
64GB Silver

Not bad considering I ordered nearly 2 hours after the release...

Mine shows “estimated to ship around November 3rd” in the app. Email says deliver by 11/3 in the email.

Is that what others are seeing? I was late to the preorder after dealing with Apple’s disaster of a site for 20 mins or so...

That’s how VZW looks every year. The email is right, the website’s wording is wrong. You WILL get it on 11/3 if that’s what the email says.

Source: been on the VZW upgrade program and doing this for the last 3 yrs and this is always how it is.
 
You have to open the box to take the simcard out and input your last 4 of your social before selling experienced this last year when I sold a Jet black 7 plus.

Hey mate, can you please elaborate on steps required. Does this mean I leave the sim in and activate the phone on the line I used to purchase it, and after the social is entered, then remove the sim and it’s ready to be sold or do I also have to factory reset the device?
 
I'm in awe of how smooth the Verizon process was 3:01am (eastern) and done by 3:03am. 11/3. Props to VZW and their web team.
Too bad the verizon business site was not run by the same team I guess, since I couldn't order for till 3:45AM EST or so
