So I am good! No changes.
I just checked the app and I am also showing two pending orders both with a status of "ships on or around Nov. 3" status. I too tried ordering via the app and got the error message and then later tried the website when the Apple Store app still wasn't letting me in.
Do paid in full phones from Verizon have to be opened, activated, deactivated and sim removed prior to sale?
Same issue for me. I'm keeping both orders for now and if they both ship, oh well, Verizon waives the restocking fee when ordering online so there is no downside.
I'm definitely not touching the orders nor calling customer care about it. I don't want any chance of having anything get messed up with trying to have one cancelled, etc. If both actually ship then so be it, I'd rather have to deal with having two than none.
Haha mine was confused on why it said 191 vs 140 where it should. She said that the estimated bill is usually wrong and will not be that when i get charged, if i DO, they will fix it.
So was all this a big hype or what? No way this many of us are getting them on 11-3 when only 3 million was available to 55 countries? I think someone was wrong somewhere.
That’s what I’m hoping. Got confirmation email at 3:17 EDT from Verizon for 256 SG with estimated ship/delivery date of 11/15... Really hoping we get our phones a little earlier than we’re being told for those of us not showing an 11/3 date but 11/10 or 11/15
I was going to cancel one as well but I suppose I can just wait and see. Shouldn't be an issue to return one after they ship.
Same thing happened to me.. Two orders of the same phone when I only did one order. They have different order numbers but they both have the same phone number that was assigned. I added the X as a new line.
Me too!Basically same happened here (but it hit a bank account that I keep almost empty and transfer funds into as needed) instead of the AmEx. The only solution is to cancel your order and place a new one.. and get at the end of the line for a December delivery. I'll just transfer funds into my account and pay for it from there instead of extending my wait!
Where do you see that they waive the restocking fee when ordering online? This is what I see on my screenshot.

Anyone know if changing the shipping address on my order will affect my ship date? I don't want to lose my 11/3 date but I am living on a college campus instead of at home. Verizon wouldn't let me change my address during checkout. Not the biggest deal, because I can get the phone shipped to me from home once it arrives, but obviously I'd like to get the phone as soon as possible!
I'm in the same situation lol I don't want to have to wait any longer for it to be shipped!
placed my order this morning at 8am est. Went through the whole process on the vzw site and on the last page it said "order could not be processed, curently experiencing high volume please try again later". One minute later I got an email saying order complete. I called verizon and they said the order has been placed. On the VZW site it shows on the orders page as well, so I am good to go.
Expected delivery date is 12/6 or earlier. The person on the phone said it could come earlier if a shipment comes in.

I would leave the order alone and get get the phone shipped out to you. A minor wait is better than a month long wait.
