Hi,

I placed an order for X 64 through the Apple site on device payment plan through Verizon.

My payment method has a hold for $1,093.91.

Did I make a mistake and paid for it in full?

Any insight will help.

I’m curious about this too. I have the same issue. My card has a pending amount for the full cost of the phone.

I chose the Verizon Device Payment option on the Apple Store App, as I am do for my annual upgrade. There was an upgrade charge and my upgrade no longer shows on my Verizon account.

I called Verizon and they said it shouldn’t be the full amount showing on the card. Trying to get through to Apple, but no luck today.
 
I've been talking to a few reps today and they have said that the only time when submitting a ticket to change the address cancels the order and starts a new one is when it is easier to do--phones that are in stock and can be shipped right away. Since the X won't ship until next week sometime, if you request the ticket before it ships, they will see the ticket request and then change the address to the new one. This morning I changed the address to where it is going to be shipped by requesting a ticket with my new address so I should be getting it 11/03 at my address I'm at now. I'll have to see once it ships and where it is heading!

Got it, thanks! I did end up chatting with a rep and putting a ticket it. Hopefully they won't cancel the order! fingers crossed!!

are there others with no pre-auth or charges? my orders look fine, 11/3 delivery as promised, but no charges thus far.

I see nothing on my CC either, I did the yearly upgrade through the Verz app and says I will owe $80 some odd dollars for taxes and upgrade fee. Says it will ship 11-3 though.

Confirmation that delivery date won't be effected by an address change.

Wtf...I was told by a rep that changing addresses will cancel my pre order, and to wait until it has shipped. Then the rep gave me a phone number of a department that can change the address mid-shipment...
 
Me too, received confirmation email but of course no tracking number yet
ya i called vzw to make sure my order is good to go and they said everything is fine and good to go and they even sent me the order confirmation via text.

I went to the CBC Innovis website, and they have (in their FAQ's) the following answer:
When a CBCInnovis client requests a copy of your credit report through our system, the inquiry may display as CBCInnovis. If you would like to know the name of our client that requested a copy of your credit report, please contact us.

I don't know if someone here can help me. I made a mistake by buying the 8+ and then returned it, I kept my 7+ that was payed off holding off for the X and then decided I couldn't justify the X and got the 8+ again. Last night I was curious as to how fast it was selling and it let me pre order early making me of course order the X but I had to do it with a new line since there was no option to return the 8. (Im still on the 14 day period until Nov 7). When the X arrives can I take back the 8+ and cancel that line ( I don't mind losing my number) and stay with the X?

You should be able to return it providing it is within the 14 day return period.

Do you know they have a limit on how many phones you can return? I went to the store to ask and the rep was just not helpful. She didn't even look at my account and kept saying I couldn't do it because it was more than 14 days which it isn't and then telling me I couldn't put my line on the X which I don't want to do lol
 
Has anyone in the deliver by 11/10 boat noticed any movement on their order yet?

i am still stuck at processing.

Mine is the 3rd and it’s still processing if that helps you any. Not sure it will change till it ships.

My Apple Watch 3 and my iPhone 8 both shipped from Verizon via UPS this month. And unlike all of my prior years of iPhone orders, the driver would not accept a signed note to leave it on the porch (we're in a relatively safe, gated community).
 
From prior iPhone preorder experiences with Verizon, don’t expect any movement until early next week.
