“The results are in. An overwhelming 99% of people say the phone is horrible and they would never buy such a thing.”
“GOOD ENOUGH, WE’RE AIMING FOR NO MORE THAN 1% MARKET SHARE ANYWAY”
I hope that there will be a fairly waterproof case available for it soon for the people who want one.
Here is the answer, which is actually really impressive to say the least:
“Energizer also told us that, thanks to its 18W charger, the phone can charge from empty to full in around two hours.”

I’m gonna take a wild guess and say probably close to none. Or maybe they hired some ex-Nokia engineers? What kind of market research was done to finish this design?
I'm gonna need bigger pants so this bad boy fits in my pocket
Yeah... That’s not fitting any of my pockets
Meh, except this particular model isn't even waterproof or shockproof so useless even there.Probably more for commercial, industrial or even military.
Is a swappable battery really so much better than a powerbank for nightly charging? Assuming that the phone's internal battery is large enough to only require nightly charging. Can we just go back to swappable battery. Really is the best trade off for those who need days of battery.
I guess you could use it as purely a powerbank. This product is awesome. Well done!
Whoops. I mean I would like it if it was a battery case for my iPhone - I just realized it’s an android phone! Not just a power bank case. So... not so interested anymore.
How about a stick-in-a-car-for-emergencies powerbank? Or simply a stick-in-a-car cigarette-lighter-charging-cable?This is a stick in a car for emergencies phone but with a steep price. Why?
Yeah, the advantage of only needing to carry one device (instead of phone+powerbank+charging-cable) and not having to plug it in the evening very rarely will outweigh the disadvantage of having to handle a much thicker phone during use.And the first comment completely nails it. Exactly what I was thinking. I'm sure someone, somewhere, will find this useful, but for 99%+ of users, a battery pack will be far more useful.
