Each social network is like a different kind of cancer. We didn’t need more cancer.
Isn’t all special media?Am I the only one who thinks Threads App is just boring?
No. Elon’s Twitter is the biggest flop.
You mean I can’t get a Switch for under $10?!?!?I really do not like that Temu is #2 on the App Store charts. Too many people are falling for those scam ads.
Not yet. But you can certainly delete the app and ignore posts. Not using or trying it, it can’t be deleted with out deleting your insta account also.
Hardly. All apps have the same means of gathering data, subject to the permissions given. If you’re referring to their “privacy label”, that’s just a text provided by the company. It doesn’t have any technical meaning as far as what data can be gathered or not.no, not the same. threads is sucking up health data. twitter doesn't.
It exceeded a hundred million users in a week. That app was the biggest flop.
Twitter will for all intents and purposes be dead by the end of this year.
I got a kick out of Twitter being Elon’s financial Vietnam.

Not according to Elon Musk two days ago.How would you know? After Elon bought Twitter he took it private and laid off thousands of non-productive people. Surely by now the cash flow has turned positive.
I’m not a fan of Zuck at all, but give me Zuck over Elon when it comes to social media 1000 times out of 1000.No it won't... I'd bet on it.
Sure, if Elon wants to just keep Twitter going as his personal echo chamber of ridiculous and reprehensible ideas, er, sorry, free speech, he can do that. But it'll never make money. He's poisoned it at this point. Meta might have lost billions, but they're a hugely successful company. Their products are used by 1/3 or more of the world's population. They have all the time in the world to make Threads a success.he has billions in surplus from his last Tesla shares sale.
Meta has lost billions from their VR/AR efforts https://www.cnbc.com/2023/02/01/met...ality-labs-in-2022-after-metaverse-pivot.html

Lol. And yet Meta is somehow very successful and their stock has tripled since last November, so I think Zuck, the board and shareholders are all quite happy these days. The Metaverse flop is a mere blip. Apple's privacy measures cost them some money, sure, but they seem to be doing just fine. Elon, on the other hand, is running Twitter into the ground.
Not at all. Meta crashed and they bounced back relatively unscathed. What's your point? I don't care for Zuck or Meta, but he's running Meta well and his board and shareholders are happy.lol completely ignoring the crash and thinking tripling is a good thing.
It’s a Twitter alternative with the ability to instantly follow everyone you’re following from Instagram, allowing for quick engagement and setup.Am I missing something, or is it just an instagram clone where I see post from people I do not follow? I don't see the point in both products existing. I find myself either looking at one or the other, not both. Outside of the content I do not follow, it is the same thing across instagram and threads.
Lol. Lower cost headset. Such a stupid idea. Don't you think if Apple could release a lower cost headset they would? Do you really think Apple wants to break into the VR market with a $3500 headset instead of a cheaper one? Get real. And how is Apple going to make this fantasy lower cost headset anyway? What components will they remove from Vision Pro? Oh, sorry, they're just going to conjure up a whole set up components that cost half the price! Lol.then there's Apple's Vision Pro and their lower cost headset coming. metaverse + VR/AR failing actually could probably get Zuck fired.
