I will be first in line at the Apple store to trade in my X and get the X-PLUS--Yes I can pre-order but what fun is that lol---

I’ve upgraded on launch day every year since the 3G and this year will be no different. Only last year, I kept the 8 Plus over the X as I find the X to be too small.
I have the cash ready, just need the rumored plus version of the X to drop. I won’t go back to the narrow width screens unless the day comes when no other options exist.

That was My only complaint about the iPhone X, is it honestly surprised me how small it was in my hands. However, I like the extra screen real estate, but the overall device just appeared relatively small to me. As much as I don’t like toting around a large iPhone, I still think the 6.5 iPhone X will be my next choice, mainly for the larger display and of course extended battery life.

I have a 6S Plus and really do want a new phone this fall. But Apple will have to have some cool new stuff to make me jump. My current phone has actually been my best one since all the way back to the 3g phone. And with the $29 battery replacement, it still operates beautifully.

I would jump for an X Plus with pencil capability!

I would only buy the new X if I lost/broke my existing X, or for some reason decided to go T-Mobile, and the new X supported Band 71.
[doublepost=1529708360][/doublepost]I would have just stayed with my 7+ but that experiment for a year of a too large phone convinced me to buy the X. I like to shirt pocket my phone, and with the +, I used a belt holster. And broke the holster more than once.

I have a 6S so I'm debating on which phone to upgrade to this fall. The X is too expensive but I do like it after playing with it in the Apple Store. Even so I may just get an 8 or 8 Plus or buy my brothers 7 Plus when he upgrades. We'll see how it goes.

I have an SE on a contract until September next year (shock, horror). I enjoy the compact size every day, though the screen size is constricting with some things, other things like PDFs you just turn it sideways and it's like those 6 inch monster phones.

Battery life after updates since iOS 10 has disappointingly gone from incredible to just OK, or lacklustre on WiFi. WiFi is the real battery sapper. Still overall great performance.

I don't know about the direction Apple is going in with the 2018 models. Definitely wait and see.

Just picked up the Product Red 8Plus in April... plan on keeping it for at least a year.

This past year was the first time that I did not upgrade. Depending on the fall lineup, I may just keep my iPhone 7 Plus for (gulp) yet another year. I figure with a $29 battery replacement towards the end of the year, this puppy still works great and should with iOS 12 as well.

Right? :)

I will wait and see if there is anything on the new iphone I would find really useful.

I have mixed feelings about moving from X to new Plus size. The larger screen would be nice in use, but at the same time I don’t want to go back to a Plus size slab in my pocket. The X is definitely more comfortable to carry

Will upgrade from a 7 to the X Plus.

The standard plus has always had too much bezel for the size, so this year’s plus is the true gateway to a larger phone. Can’t wait!

if 6.1" LCD comes to fruition, my mom will appreciate the bigger screen and more comfortable phone. She has been struggling with 4.7 iPhone 6 for some time - screen size and battery.

I guess I’m in the extreme minority here. I was the only who voted going down to the LCD iPhone :)

I am on the fence at present. As I am big into iPhone photography, a third stronger zoom lense would probably get me to upgrade, although I am very happy with the X.

But new iPad Pro is more exciting to me - that is by far my most important device.

What are your plans for 2018?

1. I have an iPhone X and probably won’t upgrade.

2. I have some other iPhone and probably won’t upgrade.

3. I have an iPhone X and will probably upgrade.

4. I have another iPhone and will probably upgrade.

5. Undecided.

For me it is 1.

I Imagine a good majority on here would opt for the 5.8 or 6.5 iPhone X. But given the 6.1 LCD iPhone will be similar to the iPhone X offering favoring capabilities, I think this will be the most constrained Model if it launches in the fall. Partially because of the price point and I think most consumers don’t care as much about OLED versus LCD, they just see a new form factor. But I also think Apple’s marketing will play a large role as well, depending how they shift that.
