I’m leaning to sticking with my soon to be 2 year old 7 Plus. If I do upgrade it will be a 8 Plus.

Wasn’t aware earlier. Then I did see it. But I personally find people will find this thread easier to interpret for casual data unless they’re very finicky about details. Just like being more detailed isn’t always better/more appropriate. Everything depends on the context. :)
Details would be nice here. 6s/+ owners, for example, what are they going to do this year? “Wait for the official announcement” disclaimers aside, do they plan to go for a _ or hang on for another year? I’m in this camp and would be interested to see what others are leaning towards at this point. The lack of a full screen SE2 has me thinking X2.

I’m currently using an iPhone X. I’ve upgraded every year by selling the previous year’s iPhone. It used to be about $200 to upgrade like this, but with iPhones increasing in price over the past 3-4 years (especially in Canada), and selling used ones becoming more challenging, I’m hoping I won’t be enticed as usual by the new model. I really love the iPhone X, especially the size and build materials. Just feels perfect.

Also I’ve upgraded my Watch every year and will likely buy a new iPad if a redesign occurs with Face ID. This is going to be an expensive fall.

Yep, will be expensive for me this year. I just paid cash for a second hand iPhone X 256gb silver. Also a S3 Nike Apple Watch. And second hand Air Pods.

I will be getting the following when released and sell these.

1. iPhone X plus 256gb or higher.
2. Apple Watch S4 Cellular SS model.
3. Air Pods, case or next gen.
4. iPad Pro 10.5" 256gb or higher

It will probably cost me around $500 to swap the ones out and then buying the iPad out right is additional.

Really loving my X. I had all the plus models that came before (6 Plus, 6S Plus, 7 Plus ... though the 6 Plus was an experiment as I wasn't sure if I'd like the large size ... turns out I did, haha).

Reaallllly looking forward to a plus sized 'X' this year. An OLED display in plus size, with all the other upgrades that are likely to come? Absolutely.

Last month I had a 6 and would be buying an 8 at a reduced price but my 6 suffered so many knocks and problems I had to get an 8 early. So I won’t be upgrading again this year!

As someone who’s had almost every iPhone made, I can honestly say that the X is the first iPhone that hasn’t had me looking forward to what’s next. 6 months into ownership and I’m still extremely happy with it. Gonna keep this one for a while.

Keeping my SE from 2015. Still works ok despite battery draining. I may just buy an extra battery for it. I may buy a new SE for my mom, who keeps using a 5c.

Also considering buying an Apple Watch 3 for my swimming activities.

Could you consider getting Apple to replace the SE battery at the discounted price they’re offering this year only? (Btw there is no 2015 SE)

Is this program US only?
I bought the SE in 2015. It's a model made in 2014, I think.
Mistake: my phone is 5s. :)

Unless I was buying from a cute/semi-cute female, I would never purchase second hand earbuds. I would also never lend out my earbuds.

I’m still saving up - really hope they release an SE2 as I currently have a 64gb SE & 32gb 2017 iPad. If the SE2 doesn’t appear by September, I’all probably get the 8 on Black Friday.

Pas as you go on AT&T. X is costing $30/month but will wait until iOS 12.2 or later and go with the Plus, which likely will be in same $ ballpark as now. The A12 is quite an achievement.
