Unless I was buying from a cute/semi-cute female, I would never purchase second hand earbuds. I would also never lend out my earbuds.
LOL. There isn't much to cleaning the airpods. There is a huge second hand market for them too.

and have actually felt that the size of this 8 Plus has been a little too big for me....... its the sheer size of the 8 Plus when its my pocket (I always put in in my front left pocket) , which I have found difficult - especially when you have it in your pocket and you sit down as I have to always swivel the phone so that it sits on the left side of my thigh when its my pocket as opposed to on top of my thigh in my pocket (it doesn't really fit if its on top of my thigh as the phone will stick into my lower abdomen!!).
I know the topic is about the iPhone, but since the Airpods rely on the iPhone, Maybe so for second market, but there is absolutely no way I would consider purchasing a pair of AirPods they have been in someone else’s ears, I don’t care how clean they are or cheap. To me, there are some things that you don’t purchase second hand that have been in someone’s ears, the Airpods are one of those items. Will happily pay for a new set of AirPods.
I anticipate Apple will release a phone (or phones) that will remain aesthetically similar (camera bump) to current and past models.
So…our plans (my wife and I) are to wait until some money we are expecting comes in at the end of July. I anticipate purchasing Google Pixel phones outright.
My 6s+ and my wife's 6s will move down to secondary phones. How that's going to affect my iPhone 5 and my 4s I have yet to determine. Those two phones are currently my secondary and tertiary phones.
My son has an SE so he will stay with that and my daughter is using my wife's old iPhone 5 (WiFi only).
Currently carrying around a 6th Gen iPad as well. Will be updating that to iOS 12 if the 11.3.1 jailbreak is confirmed to still be semi-untethered.
But for primary phones now we'll be Android.
Keep my iPhone SE more than likely. This thing is timeless and the best designed iPhone to date.
