IPhone X+. I just held up my iPhone 6+ and imagined it without a bezel- HUGE. Should be fun :)

LOL. There isn't much to cleaning the airpods. There is a huge second hand market for them too.

I know the topic is about the iPhone, but since the Airpods rely on the iPhone, Maybe so for second market, but there is absolutely no way I would consider purchasing a pair of AirPods they have been in someone else’s ears, I don’t care how clean they are or cheap. To me, there are some things that you don’t purchase second hand that have been in someone’s ears, the Airpods are one of those items. Will happily pay for a new set of AirPods.

I currently have the iPhone 8 Plus on Apple's Upgrade Program.

I'm really in 2 minds as what to do...... This is my very first Plus model iPhone and over the past year (upgraded from the iPhone 7) and have actually felt that the size of this 8 Plus has been a little too big for me.

Don't get me wrong, the screen size is great for browsing social media apps however, its the sheer size of the 8 Plus when its my pocket (I always put in in my front left pocket) , which I have found difficult - especially when you have it in your pocket and you sit down as I have to always swivel the phone so that it sits on the left side of my thigh when its my pocket as opposed to on top of my thigh in my pocket (it doesn't really fit if its on top of my thigh as the phone will stick into my lower abdomen!!).

So I am really looking at going back to a slightly smaller iPhone - the iPhone X size would be ideal (I could actually upgrade to it right now with a payment of around £87 via the Upgrade Program but seems silly so close to a new phone in September...).

If they release a new iPhone in September which is bigger than the iPhone X but smaller than the 8 Plus, then that would be ideal for me. If its gonna be bigger than the 8 Plus, then I will be looking to swap to the current iPhone X.

Unless I was buying from a cute/semi-cute female, I would never purchase second hand earbuds. I would also never lend out my earbuds.

Lol, and what if her ears were filthy? How old are you?

Personally I'm happy with my X, I've tended to upgrade every year in the past as I could but had skipped the 7+... I'm definitely interested to see how they move forward and may eventually want a larger screen, but the size of the X has been ideal so far. My work 6S+ just sits on the counter, and it feels more and more like a surfboard when I pick it up these days

All very true. I've had a Plus, than the X, and the X is much more 'carry-able'. But it sort of looks like the X+ is going to be much different than the present Plus, as without the bezel it's going to come close to a tablet. Now, no one knows what this will actually be like, except for the Android users who may already have tablet sized phones.

I'd be willing to go back to the plus size under these conditions, at least for a test (and just something new)

(just trying ti figure this out....thanks :D )

Will very likely keep my 64GB SE that I have had for 10 months. Bought it second had/nearly new for £216
Had a 5S before which I kept for 4 years.

I like getting value for money out of my phones and am not a power user so tend to not upgrade often.

Kinda craving a larger screen now though ;) but my SE runs perfect.

I think I'm going to just keep my X at this point. Who knows, things can always change but I'm not even really thinking about it.

I've got a 6s that's slowly dying due to faulty flash memory. I would buy a 4.7"-5" iPhone in an 5s/SE sized body in an instant. Since this option is most likely not on the horizon, I'll probably settle for an SE as temporary replacement. Maybe my 6s still holds out for 3 months and Apple suprises us in September. But currently I don't count on it.

I’m the same in terms of certain things. AirPods is one of them.

My 5S died last week. I use now an ancient Samsung Phone without Internet until the three months are over. Then I‘m going to buy an iPhone X Plus.

I honestly regret purchasing the X. I came from a 7plus and I definitely miss the size of that. I know that makes no sense considering the screen size of the X. If they come out with an X plus I will most like pay ATT to trade my X in and upgrade.

I will be upgrading to the X Plus from the current X if there is a bigger screen and longer battery life. Since its my major gripe with the current X is that the battery life just ok not great. Price will also be a factor.

Keep my iPhone SE more than likely. This thing is timeless and the best designed iPhone to date.

Most likely trading in my X for an 8 post keynote. I want something smaller and lighter. Will use for a year through AT&T Next and then see what Apple has to offer in 2019. Hopefully an SE sized iPhone with Face ID by then.

My 64gb iphone 6s is starting to have issues after nearly 3 years of heavy use, plus I have nearly maxed out the storage. I HATE big phones, and that appears to the trend unfortunately. My phone is often in my pocket and I dont want the extra size and weight. I don’t watch a lot of video on my phone, mainly listen to my own music collection, internet radio and various podcasts. Read email on the go. I have a Mini 4 for video and for most email and internet surfing. I am leaning towards buying a 4.7” iPhone 8, the 256gb storage, although a 128 would work for my needs if that is what they will be selling after Sept.

Opting for the 6.5 iPhone X Plus. Really only for two reason: extended battery life and larger display. Usually, Apple tends to implement some more specific or exclusive features to their larger iPhones, so naturally curious to see what they will differentiate between the 5.8 X and 6.5 iPhone X Plus.

I've recently installed ios 12 beta on my iphone 8 plus and I'm pretty happy with it. Unless the new iphones will have some earth shattering new functions (just to be clear, faceID is not one), I will stick with what I have right now.

I anticipate Apple will release a phone (or phones) that will remain aesthetically similar (camera bump) to current and past models.

So…our plans (my wife and I) are to wait until some money we are expecting comes in at the end of July. I anticipate purchasing Google Pixel phones outright.

My 6s+ and my wife's 6s will move down to secondary phones. How that's going to affect my iPhone 5 and my 4s I have yet to determine. Those two phones are currently my secondary and tertiary phones.

My son has an SE so he will stay with that and my daughter is using my wife's old iPhone 5 (WiFi only).

Currently carrying around a 6th Gen iPad as well. Will be updating that to iOS 12 if the 11.3.1 jailbreak is confirmed to still be semi-untethered.

But for primary phones now we'll be Android.

Genuinely curious, what has you guys making the move to Pixel's as primary? I've got a S8 as my secondary, and think I'm going to upgrade it to the Note 9 but keep it as secondary, or switch it to my work phone. Not sure yet.

The only way I upgrade to the new X is it is lower in price which reduces my monthly payments even if it starts plans over and offers something new

Love the X portability/ screen size so no more plus models for me

I am almost sure I keep my X and just buy a SS AW 4 this year
