I think him and Elon Musk probably talked about him and using X more. I think they were both at Donald Trump’s inauguration, so it probably happened then.

Nice speculation, but it doesn't seem to be the case.

There has been one full calendar month since the inauguration, February. Cook tweeted or reposted 8 times that month.
January was 15 posts or reposts.
December was 25.
November was 9.
October was 16.

I have a feeling that Cook is posting what he feels he needs to based on Apple's communications strategies, and not because he may or may not have talked to Musk or anyone outside of Apple about it.

My bet's on new Airport Extremes
Man, I wish! I finally had to retire mine (well, it's still running as a backup wifi network) because it was getting too outdated. I spent a lot more on Ubiquiti APs, yes I got more capabilities but the Airport Extreme was a great, reliable router that worked well for many years.

Tomorrow I think. But will it be the iPad Air or MacBook Air or both products?
I'm no insider or analyst, but I'm guessing:
- 80% Chance of Just MBA
- 5% Chance of just iPad Air
- 15% Chance of both

It's been almost exactly 1 year since the launch of the M3 MBA, so the M4 seems very likely. The iPad Air, however, was updated not even 10 months ago, and it doesn't necessarily even get annual updates, so I would actually be surprised if a new one came out so soon.

“Something in the air” …

Well, in the word “air” is a letter i - that’s the 9th letter of the alphabet - take the word “nine” and transpose the letters by two you get “pkpg” - think of Mac products that sound vaguely similar to this you get “powerbook” - announcement will be on the 5th…
Ladies and gentlemen, we give you - THE POWERBOOK G5!

Just bought an M3 16GB/512 on FB Marketplace. Figures the M4 would come out this week!
Lol. I ordered an M3 MBA 15 16/512 over the weekend for my wife just so it would speed up the M4 launch. It will arrive tomorrow but I'll probably return M3 without opening it. It will depend on M4 MBA pricing, although chip and camera updates are good enough reasons for us to splurge on M4.

Question:

I just bought a mba
15'
8gb uni
512go
M3
New sealed
550$ US

Is it worth it or should i jave waited for new mba M4?

Yeah, but did you get a good price on it? That's all that matters.

US$550 for a brand new 8 GB / 512 GB M3 15" MBA? That's an amazing deal. So amazing that I'd wonder if it's truly a new unit and not some repackaged third party refurb.

Apple sells the that model on their refurb store for US$1169, literally over twice that price.

that's a good price. for a good machine.
if you think that the specs for that machine are ok for how you use your machine, then you will be happy with it for a long time.
of course, if the return window is still open for a few more days, after you see the M4 price you will be able to confirm that your M3 is great enough for you.
apple seems to be having trouble with its rollout of Apple Intelligence features. the possible drawback to your machine is the 8GB RAM. alot of people in forums have been talking about future-proofing by getting a machine with 24 gb RAM.

Finally! Eagerly waiting to see the new MacBook Air. Hope there is a new colour as well. Expecting an announcement in the next two days.

Honestly this will be so underwhelming. Same design, marginal speed difference, most likely higher price. Nano screen is about the only thing they might add to this.

These offerings from Apple have just gotten stale. There is very little innovation anymore in this space.

Canadian $
Good luck. Surplus By Design is a refurbisher, but they do sell surplus BNIB and open box as well. Or maybe you got lucky with the pricing, because their listed CA$1249 price is incorrect for that model.

It's true the French 8 GB models have been going for cheaper than average lately, but still, CAD$892 is low for a 512 GB 15" M3.
