To Caudabe or not to Caudabe!

I’ll try and do it (much) later. Phone is in back in the Techwoven case for now and I’ve packed the Sheath away, but I will do it later.

After I put it on, I tried “squeezing” the case on around the affected area but it gradually fell back.

EDIT: Here are some pics. It’s the precise cut by the way. Doesn’t photo well with an iPad camera but it’s clearly slightly off. Also, I did a video of the rattle, you will need to turn your volume up, ha.

I have just actioned a return and refund. I appreciate that I may appear pedantic, but this is a £50 case, not some £10 bit of plastic off Amazon. Such problems with a cheap case are forgivable. £50, not so much.

I never had a problem getting cases for my 14 PM, but it seems like every year Caudabe fumbles and lets people down. I just don't get it. Are they a small company with huge demand, or does their shipping center just suck (a la dbrand)?
 
The gray sheath I used on my 12PM and purple sheath I used on my 14PM were both great cases. I’m tempted to pick up a gray open sheath for my 17PM, but I guess I’ll hold off and see if I feel the need for a 3rd case besides the sienna Techwoven and Pitaka. 🤷‍♂️

Same, ordered a Sheath Eucalyptus for the iPhone 17. Seems it's delayed again to end of October now. Initially didn't care because my iPhone 17 order from Apple got delayed a few times but now it's coming this week and Caudabe hasn't shipped yet. I already had to cancel my other Caudabe order, frustrating, launch seems very poorly managed.

Once my 17 gets here I'll just cancel this order too. Any other case recommendations similar to Caudabe quality? Wish they made base model Techwoven... Thanks

Haha, that’s bunk!

I already tried something roughly equivalent and it always receded back on the side. No amount of jimmying is going to fix it.
 
I’m skipping caudabe this year. I’ve had synthesis and sheath previously.

I’m going with the apple tech woven case. I don’t want to wait for shipping from caudabe.

I really like the open tech woven case in green and orange iPhone pro combo and the contrast. Caudabe doesn’t have an open back camera green case. I don’t know why. It’s dumb.

I’ll probably buy a caudabe case when it’s more readily available and once there’s a sale

So you’re just skipping caudabe at the moment but have plans to definitely order one when they’re in stock/on sale?
 
Yes, if they have the design and color I want on their sheath model and 30% off discount. Otherwise I’ll just stick with techwoven

Caudabe just pushed some of their cases back to mid November due to "slight manufacturing delay."

I am waiting for them to cancel my order, you can't do it yourself in the self service tool, have to email them. If they don't respond soon will do a chargeback. Ordered Apple silicone case, quite nice with the new coating dust no longer sticks to it.

Mid November is right in time for the "Holidays" so I'm thinking January? lol

Well, after yet another delay for the 'open' sheath I've had enough and cancelled my last order. A shame, but I don't want to compromise and get the precise just because it might ship sooner, but even then there's no guarantees.

I know I ordered my Paragon Ember precise case weeks after others, but I’m considering canceling my order and just continue with the setup that I have. I’m using a glass back protector and bumper at the moment and I’m satisfied with this. I don’t need a case now.

I received my Paragon (Moonstone) case for the iPhone 17 today, but I’ve already requested an exchange for the black Sheath instead.

The back is too smooth for me, and I don’t like how exposed the edges are. It was a risk to try it because I *really* liked the Sheath on my iPhone 12 Pro.

The wait continues.
