Palm algorithm is highly suspicious imho!

Why does it happen on my 15PM? Maybe part of the iOS 18 code? I agree though that it could very well be this palm thing. I’ve tried my 16PM with and without a case. No change. (I don’t use a screenshield FWIW.)

Good to know about this issue. I’m intending to upgrade my 13 Pro before the end of the year, but I will hold off on buying a 16 Pro until I hear this issue has been fixed. 👍

Yeah, if my 15PM was unaffected I’d be returning this 16PM first thing in the morning. I feel trapped now. I’ll never install a new major release again on day 1. Lesson learned.

Getting sick and tired of this problem. I truly wish I didn't sell my previous iphone. My 16 pro max is virtually unusable for work. I can't type! It's been over a week and Apple hasn't said anything. We still don't know if this is a software problem they plan to fix or a hardware issue.

Is anyone returning their phones ?

My touch issue happens when my hand is near the camera button and I feel like it will be probably get worse with time if apple doesn't roll out an update.

My 14 day return window is up this week Thursday too, I don't want to return it but...I paid alot of money for it thinking there will be some minor issues but not as bad as this touch issue.

I really don't like this kind of statement. Sometimes it is not available to some people, sometimes people don't want to have extra expense. Maybe these people are okay without it and have been fine using a screen protector and a case like me.
