Hopefully! But here we are almost three months after release with no sign of a fix.
Everything has been very hasty on the part of Apple, they still don't solve the artificial intelligence. They have a lot of problems to solve.

I was going to get a 16PM this week but this is kind of scaring me. Still not fixed? Eh. I guess I’ll just wait until the 17.
So, touch issue is a common problem of many 16 pro and pro max but it is note sure.
Take it and in 30 days you can bring to apple.

That's right. What is the date battery build? Your iPhone I mean.
September. I think the battery manufacturing date has little to do with this. There are phones with September and October battery builds that have the same problem.

I missed your previous posts, if any. Which kind of touch issues are you facing?
my 16pm randomly ignores some touches on the screen. sometimes i have to touch it 2 or 3 times for it to work, especially when typing, i keep making spelling mistakes, especially the space bar keeps not working. also i noticed that the screen lock speed (the time it takes for the screen to turn off after pressing the screen lock button) is much slower than my previous 15pm. the screen wake up speed is also significantly slower. a few times after talking on the phone, because i was busy and didn't have time, i locked the screen and quickly put it in my pocket, and the slow screen shut down speed caused my finger to accidentally press the button to start another call. 3 times like that, my wife called back to ask why i called her without saying anything. i have never had such a problem before. bad experience.

I'm pretty convinced that the touch issue are hardware issues, but who knows if it's an issue with the screen components or some other component in the phone that that's faulty that happens to also affect the screen

My battery was built in July. I don't present the problems you describe. I have only two problems, with the keyboard in the letter "A" (Querty in Spanish, the "A" is at one end, below the "Q") sometimes I lose touches on that letter, nothing happens to me with the keyboard in English, and at the upper left end, sometimes I lose touches on the arrow to go back, but that happens very little. I think it's the algorithm, because of the thin bezels. I hope 🤞🏻

If it's an algorithm, it would happen to everyone, and it doesn't.

The thin-bezels-palm-rejection-algorithm theory was first suggested by a random screen protector manufacturer on Reddit, and for some reason everyone picked that up and keeps spreading it around as if it is a credible theory (when in reality a random screen protector manufacturer has absolutely no clue about Apple's internal software development)

You're right. I only occasionally experience problems with the letter A (because the querty in Spanish places it at one end) very occasionally. Nothing else so far. And since almost everyone here uses the keyboard in English, where the letter A is further in the center, they do not perceive the problem. Update 18.2 is much more fluid and I have only experienced, very little, what has already been described. Greetings!

I had changed one phone and now i changed screen.
Now i dont know if the problem is screen or phone

18.2 RC While I am typing this reply, I made several mistakes and some keystrokes just didn’t register as they should have. I really don’t know if it’s still a hardware issue or iOS issue but geniuses at Apple can fix hardware issues with software adjustments, isn’t it? Indian 16 Pro Max and another Japanese 16 Pro in our household and both exhibiting same issue. However my mom’s 15 Pro Max is flawless while typing.

Some people mention that they changed the phone, changed the screen, changed the tempered glass, etc etc. But then that’s it. They don’t mention if it solved any issues or not. It adds absolutely nothing to the conversation. People should refrain from doing that unless they have something to contribute to.

How was your experience with the new screen? Do you note objective changes?
At the first time, it seems everthing is very good.
This morning i lose a few touch, but for now, it better then before.
Also if I think this years Apple for me is very sh..! For my experience.
Stai connect, tomorrow I will say how is the situation.
