You are doing it once, maybe twice if you are really unlucky. make it three times if this really isn’t your year… but 4, 5 or more times, that’s what I call serial returners. Being here since a while, this is something happening quite often from some users.
BTW not a single one of the complainers here “cannot type” on their phone.
I’m directed to every serial returner: aren’t you satisfied after 3 swaps? FYI I did remote diagnostic with apple support and was able to show my issue in person 3/5 times.
Another thing “serial returners” are YouTubers that buy every colour of every model to review every year. I doubt they give them all away.
Whether your post is directed at me or not, I violated no policies to remedy my issue. And being an iPhone user since the 5s, this is the only year I’ve had this much issue over a phone.

Same issue.Brand new 16 pro max, purchased yesterday, October build. Constant touch issues on top left of the screen, and top right. Keyboard typing seems ok but certain parts of the screen has intermittent issues.
It's going back to the store tomorrow for a refund. A £1200 device like this should not have issues. I had a Poco F3 that was perfect from day 1. Cheap and cheerful. Luckily I kept my 13 pro max which beats this hands down on screen sensitivity.
I feel bad for people that are receiving these for Xmas and have the same issues. I do hope it gets sorted as I want another but not willing to take the risk whilst it's still being reported.
