Anyone else also has this sensitivity problem?
Really light touches sometimes not recognizing.

I have this screen protectors:

JETech Full Screen Schutzfolie... https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0DBLW4PNW?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Had the Torras screen protectors before and it was even bader.

Have no tested it without screen protector.

UPDATE: It seems every screen protector with glass does no function properly. Read here:

Are there any glass screen protectors who work with 100% sensitivity? 😩

Put the phone flat on a desk so that you’re not holding it with your other hand, and then see if you still have the touch issues. I’m still curious if this is due to parts of people’s hands overlapping the screen in different spots
I proof it.
It’s strange but I am sure that all screen have a few problem to lose same touch

The only annoying for me is the bad sensitivity of the touchscreen. If you really really light press the screen touch does not getting recognized.
At the moment the only solution is live with this or remove the screen protector …

If I make the test, it seems that there isn’t problem also you have a light touch

For the first time in years, the iPhone 16 Pro Max (both software and hardware) made me seriously question staying in the Apple ecosystem. The iPhone 16 Pro Max is a beta, we don't deserve this.
It’s true! But also is beta, waf, make another upgrade for to grow up sensibilty touch screen! ****

I just did a test and opened 70 photos in the Instagram app one by one, and hit the back button in the upper left 70 times. 140 taps, and it didn’t miss a single time. 🙃

Which screen protector do you use?

I use also the thinnest screen glass protectors that I know, but they have light tap touch issues.

JETech Full Screen Schutzfolie... https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0DBLW4PNW?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I don’t want to use the Belkin Ultra Glass 2, because they are not edge to edge … :/

I don’t use screen protectors— I don’t like how they look/feel, and have never had any noticeable scratches on any of my phones over 7 years

Ahhh okay if you don't use a screen protector you cannot have the light tap problems with the sensitivity.

It seems like, the new 16 Pro / Pro Max displays have a problem with the screen protectors. The previous iPhones did not have this problem no matter which protector you using.

I'm really pissed because for now I found a panel with an acceptable uniform but this touch issues driving me nuts ... :(
Still have my old 15 Pro Max as backup ...

There are only 2 solutions at the moment:

1. Remove the screen protector. Then light taping is working.

2. Apply the tempered glass protector an firmly press the screen.

I don't know other solution, because every tempered glass protector behaves the same ...

I found out something strange:

The touch sensitivity depends on how you position your thumb.
If I place my thumb straight so that as much surface as possible touches the display, then light typing also works.
When I press my thumb only on the side to screen I have to press a little harder.
It appears that the sensitivity depends on how much of your thumb or fingers you are putting on.

Can you confirm? :)

Did not have tested without screen protector now ...

This makes it even more difficult to fix ... :D

The typing delay on my 16 Plus continues to baffle me, not sure if it's touch sensitivity issues from the Flolab screen protector but I'm making so many typos and sometimes I am typing and it freezes for a second then the text rapidly appears like if it was chugging trying to keep up with my typing, so unpolished. I'm on 18.3 RC and still with same issue unfortunately.
