iPhone 16 Pro Max Touch issues with 16 Pro / Pro Max display

Yeah, most likely due to hardware issue (LG GH3 & battery manufacturer date August 2024) purchased through Apple Store app. While the Dynamic Island FaceID animation is also taking a few seconds (delayed) & after a reboot then back to normal. As for WhatsApp, if you tap the camera icon, try to tap the photo you wish to upload also need to tap a few times and also take a few seconds as well (delayed)

Apparently, my friend grabbed G9N (purchased in January 2025), which is also the same, but his level of brightness and color is slightly better than mine except for uniformity.

I changed 3. Battery built july august and now october.
I’m unlucky?…
 
So please tell me if it is save to purchase the normal 16 Pro?

BTW. I checked in a store today. they had two units of each - iphone 16 pro and pro max and I could not find any responsive issues.... the ios sofware was 18.3.2 on it....

BTW. I was wondering if the problems with the Iphone 16 Pro Max's is widespread or not. When I google the topic or search in youtube the are very rare cases. For example on youtube yout cant find even a single video of someone typing on the 16 Pro max keyboard showing that there are problems.... Then the problem is maybe not widespread?

Problem is only shown with glass screen protector. Without it is fine :)

So I can buy the 16 Pro Max isntead of the normal Pro? I would like to have the Pro Max but I heard the problem is more present on pro max than normal pro. Is this true or can I go for the pro max?

Mine works 100% fine without screen protector. Mine also works 100% fine with the single screen protector I tested it with, but I don't use screen protectors so can't really say if it has issues with others

PM with batterybuilt after November I believe are K, if you will have problem, you have 15days to give and change device in store

And? How does this add to the discussion exactly? He's having problems getting the settings app to launch by touching the icon, and he's not using a screen protector. Faulty phone, borked beta install? There's nothing to be gained from that video for people having issues

I recently bought a 16 PM phone, January 2025 release. The same problems as many others. Bad response on the left edge, bottom and top.
 
I bought mine in germany 7 days ago and no issues with the screen at all. I use it without screen protector. I have LG as a display manufacturer. Maybe the samsung displays are the issue?
