I got the black last year and never warmed up to it. People say this year's is a more intense black, seems very popular. I went with Natural Ti this year.

Natural Titanium is very nice you'll love it
Ordered a 16PM NT went picked tmo for the acmi. Currently on Mint though. Worse case I guess I set up a new tmo plan for one month and cancel. We’ll see.
Well... now I'm torn. Now I have a 256GB 15 Pro. I'm only using a little over half of the capacity. Yesterday I did a preorder for a 256GB 16 Pro. Then I got to thinking (always dangerous)... I only use half because I spend a considerable time curating photos and apps and deleting some. So this morning I did a preorder for a 512GP 15 Pro. arrrggghhh
Both preorders are sitting out there and I'm not sure which to pick on Friday. Probably 512. But that does seem a little excessive.
Both are in Desert Titanium. I haven't had a gold phone for a long time; XS maybe?
But include me in the list of people wondering why we can't have fun colors on the pro phones. Not everyone who carries a pro phone needs to pair it with a somber business suit. Why can't they be black, white, and a couple of fun colors? Where's the bright green, or orange?

The teal iPhone 16 looks so incredible. If it had 120Hz I’d downgrade for the year.

Alright pre-pre-order set, 16P in Natural Titanium 128GB. Now just have to remember to get up before 5am PT in order to place the order.

Is anyone having issues with the pre pre order on the apple site going through T-Mobile . I’m trying to do it but it won’t allow me to even though it said you’ll be able to on 9/11. I already know I’m eligible for an upgrade. I do this every year

Seems like all the carrier installments are in the same boat. I don't recall it like that in previous years.
I always do the minimum, so I’ll get 128GB. We have a MyCloud on our home network that we back our photos up to, and that’s what would take up the most memory for me. Right now I’m at 80GB and I haven’t offloaded my photos in a few weeks 🙂

Should I get the 16 Pro Max Black or Desert Titanium? Had the 15 PM in Natural Titanium and not interested in White. I'm only left with two options but even after watching several hands-on videos I'm not sure. I'm not digging the new desert color a lot, but it might look way better in person? Only reason I'm even considering it is it'd show itself as the "new" model. The black on the other hand looks sleek and since it's a huge device, won't draw too much attention. However if the desert is a neutral subtle color it could work too? Black as a darker color might show more fingerprints/smudges I think.
