T-Mobile here. I needed to enter PIN for T-Mobile line on Apple site. After Checked out from Apple I received a text from
T-Mobile saying “Thank you for eSignature…..”
I never was asked that from Apple for my TMO phone.

My 14+ was financed thru Apple Card 2 years ago and it's been paid off.

When I clicked on TMO as my carrier during pre-order, I was never asked anything about my phone#, PIN or verification.

I do have my choice premium... and I was able to hold for pickup last year. So if that's still the case, not sure why it's not working this year.
Do you have a UPS store near you ?

That will be free if you have Premium My Choice....

Just not from the Customer Counter / UPS distribution hub....

If the driver can't get to your lobby, then next best is to have them deliver to a neighbor that has easy access.

You can do this on My Choice UPS site or app.
sorry i didnt explain properly - they do have access to the lobby where there is a shelf for package delivery - just not sure they'll leave it. they wouldnt be able to get past the lobby to my apartment door and im not sure they'll ring me from the lobby. maybe i can sit down there all day lol

I do, but don't want to have to wait until Saturday to grab it. I usually just go early in the morning to the CC. I guess I'll have to just hope it doesn't come during the 2 hours block I'll be out of the house.

No - I had asked in here the other day and a few people told me that it normally comes after your phone arrives. I couldn't recall, because I feel like I've had it both ways over the last few years.
if the trade-in kit arrives after the iPhone, then I might as well just trade it in at the Apple Store. My partner and I are both receiving new iPhones on Friday and then heading to the Apple Store on Saturday to look at cases, so I could probably trade it in there and then

HI, I have a question about UPS My Choice Premium . Once the iPhone gets to the hub near me, can I request a certain time for them to deliver?
Thanks, Jerry
You can try. lol I think if you have a Next Day Air you have more chance of requesting a time.

I have gotten early iPhone deliveries by having an expedited shipment arriving the same day. I am looking at ordering something to arrive by Next Day on Friday to give my iPhone an earlier arrival. Unfortunately the Air service is $40 for a $20 cable. Still plotting my next move.

edit: Next Day Air on another delivery, to be clear. Not Next Day Air on iPhone as it is Worldwide Saver, or some such thing.

Shipping to a commercial address blocks you out of using UPS My Choice.
Not true. I have mine delivered to my work every year because UPS delivers before 2pm instead of waiting at home for my maybe 7pm delivery. I can set my phone up before I leave work.

I also have it in my name c/o company name and address.
It worked every year and solves the being signed for part because our shipping/receiving department blanket signs for all items being delivered.

I went through the motions of seeing if I could change the delivery time frame and no, it is not a selection. Launch Day deliveries are most likely the cause.
My Change Delivery Options in UPS app are "currently unavailable". I'm hoping that changes when the iPhone clears customs in SDF and moves toward Cincinnati. To be determined if I can make a change that makes any sense to get the phone earlier.

As someone who normally upgrades every year but decided not to do it day one this year, reading this thread from a step back reminds me how fanatical some of y’all are about the iPhone preorder process. Tracking flights and stuff, obsessively trying to figure out which plane your phone might be on. wild stuff for a phone that releases every year lol fun to watch 😂

Apple no longer allows CC pickup. Doesn’t matter which carrier you have.

The sad thing is that on Apples website, as well as in the order email, they clearly state that you can change the shipment to have it held at a the carrier facility.

They really need to update their website before the lawsuits come in…or just stop pulling this nonsense altogether.

I might try again on like Thursday... if I remember from last year, I had to do it kind of last minute.

Same here. UPS said Apple put a restriction on holds and to call Apple. Apple said it was too late as shipping was already in progress. They also wouldn’t redirect to ISPU.
This is per Apple Support site.

I'll be watching for my iPhone to clear customs and then I'll check the Change Delivery Options. If that doesn't work to change to CC I'll call the UPS number to see if I can get it held- not really expecting that to work as last week I couldn't even get a UPS person on the phone, the automated system didn't like any of the answers I gave it so it wouldn't transfer me to a live real person.

It finally arrived at SDF (Louisville, KY). Since I live in NOVA, there are UPS flights from SDF to IAD on Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri, and Sat. The flights are usually between 4-6AM, so my phone missed todays flight to IAD as it got to SDF around 8:21AM.

Hopefully it will be on tomorrow's flight, if not, it will definetly be on Friday AM flight.

We are getting close...

If I remember correctly in years past this has been the case. I haven't been able to call UPS and request the CC pickup until it was separated from the pallets and cleared customs.

I'm already in Louisville, so that didn't work for me.

Credit card finally has a pending charge, yes! Got my screen protectors ordered (backordered actually, of course). And going to buy one of Apple's cases when I pick up on Friday after watching some of the videos that posted this morning.

Just 52 hours to go now.
