It seems to be a day delay, they treat the UPS store as a "stop" It can vary but I think the UPS stores don't really check them in right away either . YMMV with that one
i Had ordered it at 8.01am for delivery and delivery date is 20th sept, however I see preparing to ship as order status.. I know it might have been discussed in forum but can someone please let me know how do I track my order ..
so far I checked ups my choice using order ID (with and without last 2#) and even called ups to check my incoming order via address but unable to get tracking number .. is there any other way to check ..

Don't count on anything before Friday
If you ordered iphone 16 then apple/UPS hasn't printed labels yet. Probably will show later today if its like last year.
If you ordered iphone 16 pro then it should be already in Louisville
Probably tomorrow. Last year the label was printed on Wednesday and Louisville origin scan was on Thursday before Launch day.

UPS CC does have the ability to put a CC hold on it once it's at the hub. Whether they want to is another question lol
I just don’t see how that’s possible considering the launch day people have been tracking their phones all the way from China. How could ours get here in 48 hrs?
I went to the "change delivery date" and tried to change it to today or tomorrow, but the only change it actually offered from Friday was Monday!!!!
I my memory serves me correctly. My local UPS hub is in Lorton. It will get there about 5am and be out on the truck by 7ish
When it happened before, the status on the Apple order page reflected it. You would have to do a pretty difficult search thru the older threads for that info
Fingers crossed, i love my ritual of Friday morning iPhone Launch Day pickup at CC. Usually I'm the only customer there and I make sure to let the staff there know that I appreciate them.
I do the same with the driver. I know they have some intense days delivering and most issues are not their fault, but they are the face of UPS who gets the frustration/anger when things don't go as expected. Kindness goes a long way regardless of the momentary issue.
They do this every launch. You check daily to see what they have in stock that day.
Often Thursday Louisville to Seattle (Boeing Field). Occasionally my Apple stuff headed to the west coast of Canada takes that route as well.

This is the longest week ever. Someone just fast forward us to Friday.
They weren't allowing pickup at the CC last year. I doubt that they'll allow it this year.
The flights from China to Louisville take about 14 hours. I have gotten iPhones that left China less than 24 hours earlier.
I might try again. The CC people know me and are very willing to help, but last year they said the restrictions won’t let them hold my iPhone for pickup anymore. Sigh.
Sorry if my messages might be repetitive, since it seems most new people to the thread are only reading the most recent page, if that much, I go ahead and answer like it's a new topic. lol
I was able to do it last year at my CC, but I had to wait until Thursday to request they hold it. Was really close for comfort, but it went through.
