Yes, Apple wont flip to "Shipped" until it clears customs in Kentucky - most likely overnight into Thursday. UPS is of course, tracking it all the way from ZZ because it has to, but Apple is what it is.seriously?

It is either in Louisville now, or will be there today.seriously?
I am going to give it a whirl.I was able to do it last year at my CC, but I had to wait until Thursday to request they hold it. Was really close for comfort, but it went through.
Same, I'll try it out and see if I can do a CC pickup instead of home delivery....I am going to give it a whirl.
No, they usually don't come until a few days after the phones arrive. Mine usually come via FedEx.Did anyone receive their trade-in kit yet?
But the phone don't have a customs scan yet.I'm already in Louisville, so that didn't work for me.
Was curious if I can just trade it in at the Apple Store on Saturday when I go to check out cases with my partner, even if I do have a trade-in kit comingNo, they usually don't come until a few days after the phones arrive. Mine usually come via FedEx.
Your phone traveling by boat may be problematic.NoVA here too.. looks like we're in the same boat..
Again, Apple will show that your iPhone has shipped once it clears customs in Louisville.Apple shows preparing to ship but I got the UPS app and with my address it shows it in KY
GotchaAgain, Apple will show that your iPhone has shipped once it clears customs in Louisville.

Yup. The phones aren't even officially "in-country" until the customs scan.Yes, Apple wont flip to "Shipped" until it clears customs in Kentucky - most likely overnight into Thursday. UPS is of course, tracking it all the way from ZZ because it has to, but Apple is what it is.
That's why they invented adult diapers. lolUPS driver's ability to know exactly when you are in the bathroom so they can just leave the failed delivery tag on your door is just remarkable.
Every year somebody tries it and you see the 😠after they find out they’ve now added a day to their delivery. I’m too risk-averse but if somebody does it and is successful let us know LOLI'm curious about that. I do know I have never risked trying to have it sent to the UPS Store because I'm pretty sure it'd arrive there after the truck would have already delivered it to my home.
The CC was the only place i could guarantee it'd be available on Friday morning, and that's why I've always chosen to pick it up there when I was in town on Launch Day.
Already in Louisville, yes, but customs clearance hasn't happened yet - that's the potential trigger.I'm already in Louisville, so that didn't work for me.
You cannot, and they will not. Apple doesn't allow it.You can request for it to be left at door if you want
Still awaiting the guy in TX that was going to do his yearly stroll into the UPS CC and hold it during his lunch break lolEvery year somebody tries it and you see the 😠after they find out they’ve now added a day to their delivery. I’m too risk-averse but if somebody does it and is successful let us know LOL
Same, I’m not liking the stories I’m seeing here about the trade in by mail getting lost. Was curious if I can just trade it in at the Apple Store on Saturday when I go to check out cases with my partner, even if I do have a trade-in kit coming
Wow…that escalated quicklyThat's why they invented adult diapers. lol
Interesting...mine never has, for phones or any other device. I always get my trade in kit as a separate shipment with a different tracking number, usually from FedEx.My trade in kit has always been included with the new phone.
They have an app which shows all the times you ate Taco Bell and uses Apple Intelligence to predict your next bathroom visit!UPS driver's ability to know exactly when you are in the bathroom so they can just leave the failed delivery tag on your door is just remarkable.
Typically I get mine like Tuesday or Wednesday after launch day via FedExInteresting...mine never has, for phones or any other device. I always get my trade in kit as a separate shipment with a different tracking number, usually from FedEx.
This is what the trade in kit for my watch looks like on Apple.com:

I also don’t trust the people at my local UPS Store. They tend to misplace things of value…Still awaiting the guy in TX that was going to do his yearly stroll into the UPS CC and hold it during his lunch break lol
