if the trade-in kit arrives after the iPhone, then I might as well just trade it in at the Apple Store. My partner and I are both receiving new iPhones on Friday and then heading to the Apple Store on Saturday to look at cases, so I could probably trade it in there and then
Apple Store on launch day? Sending thoughts and prayers! :D

I also don’t trust the people at my local UPS Store. They tend to misplace things of value…
Yeah the actual UPS stores are independently owned. I've had an Amazon return get checked in but never left (lost) at a UPS store. Also same thing happened with a custom backpack that was shipped to me, tracking showed it scanned in at the store and it never left. The sender on that one had to file a claim and then re-make a backpack (two months wait)

HI, I have a question about UPS My Choice Premium . Once the iPhone gets to the hub near me, can I request a certain time for them to deliver?
Thanks, Jerry
You can request, but for a fee usually. And even then there’s no guarantee they’ll deliver in your requested window. But you can get a refund in that case. So in my experience, it’s not worth it.

I just hope my driver shows up, wouldn’t be the first time he’s knocked off early on a Friday, then claimed “no one home”.

I pay for the premium, so I'll give it a go. I've ordered the iPhone ever year. I was always told picking a delivery time on an Apple product never works. Has anyone ever had this work?
Thanks

No fee with My Choice premium. Not sure they will guarantee a delivery window with launch deliveries.

If you ordered iphone 16 then apple/UPS hasn't printed labels yet. Probably will show later today if its like last year.

If you ordered iphone 16 pro then it should be already in Louisville
It’s 16 MP .. how to I find tracking number ?

It's been awhile since I've done an ISPU. I have ATT next and I ordered via att financing. How do I go about getting this current phone back to ATT? Do they just email me a shipping label? It's been so long I can't remember.

Interesting...mine never has, for phones or any other device. I always get my trade in kit as a separate shipment with a different tracking number, usually from FedEx.

This is what the trade in kit for my watch looks like on Apple.com:

That’s what I always thought it would be. They always have me reuse the same box the phone was shipped in though and there’s a prepaid label in it. Actually thinking about it I think the prepaid label sits under the label to my address and I just rip the top label off

I wonder, would it be possible to pin a post in these threads, to the top where it would show up on every page at the top, like. Q&A post with all the commonly asked questions? Those of us who pay attention to this thread all of the same questions get annoying for sure, but I don’t expect that anyone would read through thousands of posts to find the answer to their question. I know I wouldn’t…

For years, I have run a Facebook group for a popular charter cruise that sells out every year. The group has over 2000 members from that cruise. I have a FAQ pinned at the top of the group. Every day, I have to deny a handful of posts for questions that are answered in the FAQ. I also have pinned instructions for the group search feature to find posts regarding their specific question or topic. I have to deny another bunch of posts every day for stuff already answered, as well. Most people don't bother to take the time to read the FAQ or searching. While the idea is great, you will find that in practice, a majority of the people can't be bothered by taking the time to read them. For my full-time career, I run a non-profit community gym. I have answered the FAQs at the top of the main page of the website and on our social media accounts. I still get tons of calls and emails asking questions that have already been answered front and center on our website and social media accounts. The phone number they are calling is included in this FAQ.
