My UPS Choice estimate went from "By 7:00pm" to "Between 3:30-5:30pm"
They delivered before 10am.

Apple always requires signatures to release their shipments. If they did before, it was drivers who faked your signature to release.
If you have the notification tag you “can” have them redeliver to you again, which ever works.
Just got delivered! UPS guy knocked on the door and yelled pretty loudly that he was from UPS and needed a signature
my driver drove past my house twice and left my area. so sad.
Got my 256gb Desert Titanium Pro Max delivery! Oddly, the UPS driver didn’t get a signature from me; just left them at the door. Thankfully, they rang the doorbell at least so I knew they were there.
Now I’m just getting it all set up and transferring data from my 14PM. It quoted me at 15-20 minutes, but now it’s estimating 3 hours until completion 😓

My driver has completed at least 3 circles around my street.
No signature for me either. I even asked the guy if I had to sign.
It’s very pale! The keynote definitely made it seem darker! It’s pretty…. But light. In truck on the way home from picking up so can’t take photos yet!
Mine was slammed. Just got back home at about 1:30 from my 12-12:15 pickup windows. They had a line for pickups and this is what it looked like when I left at about 12:50.
The driver has been very close for hours but there are a lot of businesses in my area so they probably go first.

I am not available for re-delivery. Also, no where on either package does it say anything about signature required. I am a little confused how they can omit that..
There was one from very early this morning. I commented that it looked like a random Customs check. But yours is different. Your weird scan is after the Out For Delivery scan. They could just be showing wrong in the system and it is on the truck.
Sorry but the decision is up to the driver if the shipment details don't require a signature. Your driver decided it was not safe to just leave it by the door this morning. Call the number on your Missed delivery notice and discuss your options.
In some markets UPS will be making a re-delivery attempt tomorrow.

So does that mean the driver won’t deliver it today even though it’s on his truck?
Do Not Know. I suspect that it probably had that random check in Louisville and then travelled to T-Town where it's now on the truck. The scans are probably just out of order in what you see.
The one from this morning had Louisville, then this weird scan, then leaving Louisville, then arriving at destination, etc
Contact AppleCare+ Support and they will then walk you through how to do it. I've done it once before and it was relatively easy if I remember correctly.
Each Carrier has their own eSIM transfer / creation process. Check with your carrier support articles.

I had this same thing on one of the 2 I have getting delivered. It has now cleared that scan, but no idea when it will be delivered. Hopefully our driver just hands me both boxes, but we'll see.
