Hey guys, originally my phone was scheduled for early October but on Saturday it changed to shipped and it has been in a china warehouse since then. Is it normal to sit there that long?

My phone set in a warehouse in China for 3 days, but I was a launch day delivery so I don't know if that changes anything.

Good sign! Sometimes the departure time doesn't register, so it may be in transit already - likely to Louisville. What was your original delivery window?

My card was charged on 9/20 and shipped on 9/21. My original delivery date was 10/2-10/7 but it's now saying arriving by tomorrow (although tracking shows it just left Korea). I'm thinking it's going straight to Louisville and will be distributed from there. Delivery date is showing 9/24 between 2pm-5pm so we'll see. For your order there's a strong chance it's on the move but just hasn't been recorded. Make sure on UPS tracking you click on "View All Shipping Details" for more in-depth info.

Yea the Apple site and the FedEx site says Thursday will be the delivery date but it’s been allegedly sitting in china soncr Saturday morning so I wasn’t sure.
 
Ordered on Sunday, 9/15 and got a delivery estimate of Oct-3-8. No movement so far. Given that they had lots of devices available in-store on Sat/Sun, I really hoped they'd be able to move up my delivery time.
Yes shipments will still continue but when I went to the Apple Store on Saturday afternoon, all the Pro and Pro Max were sold out.

Luckily, I had paid for it first thing in the morning and got the model & color I wanted.

There were large lines asking for the Pro and Pro Max and all turned away when being told only the 16 and 16+ were available.

Guess the Pro and Pro Max are more popular ?
 
Waiting not too patiently for the transfer process to complete. It says about 2 hours remaining... but it's been saying that for at least two hours. Hopefully it will be done before I go to bed. What's really annoying is that I can hear that I'm getting text messages but I can't see them. Hopefully none of them are too important. Something I didn't think about when I chose transfer vs iCloud backup. It transferred the eSIM to my new phone, but I can't get into that phone to tell it to share messages with my Mac or iPad. Oh well. First world problems.
Mine ended up taking a little over 5 hours to phone to phone transfer...original estimate 12 hours, then down to 8...but the last "2.5 hours" in the estimate went quick. Next year might be the year I set up as new and let my stuff come in from the cloud, and set up all settings from scratch.

The Apple site says delivery Friday but my UPS tracking is saying tomorrow. I'd say you'll get it sooner than Thursday.

I had no issues—cellular took just a minute and all my data transferred in under 45 minutes. Then I tried to pair my Watch and chaos ensued.

Once I finally got my Watch unpaired from my old phone I couldn’t pair it unless I set it up as new. BUT my apps and data etc did transfer.

The worst part was not realizing I needed to update the WatchOS and, as usual, that process took forever.

ETA: In my iPhone Watch app, below the messages about being unable to pair, there was an option to add a new Watch and that’s how I finally got my old Watch to pair. I could the delete the stalled-paring Watch.
I was finally able to get my apple watch synced to my new iPhone. It took like 5 hard restarts and pairing and unpairing to finally get the phone backed up.

Unfortunately, now none of my location based HomeKit services work. It thinks I'm permanently at home no matter what I do. My iPhone 15 isn't listed on my iPhone. I don't know w hat to do. Has made my cameras are laborious endeavor now where if I leave I have to switch them to recording at home since it thinks I just live there even though on Find My, it'll see me and my watch somewhere else.

Usually I do the iCloud backup and restore, and that’s faster. Or at least you can use the phone sooner.

I ordered mine the 16th, delivery date of 8-15 and nothing yet. Funny enough the “cancel item” button went away for a few hours but is back now! So who knows. I’d hoped for it moved up too
 
Canceled a Black Titanium PM 256GB that was supposed to be delivered October 8-15.
Just ordered a Desert Titanium PM 512GB via courier delivery that will be delivered today from 5-7pm.

Went into a store this weekend and saw scratches on the back glass of every Black Titanium that was being displayed so decided to go with a different color.

Got my package today... A different person brought it. This is what was handed to me. Is a 3rd complaint too much???

PS... The address is right on both labels. Label was not ripped or anything.

Phone is sealed and serial # matches my AppleCare+ email.
I would report it to Apple. UPS probably won’t care but this is something Apple would be worried about.

Hmm it looks like the package has been misplaced an then opened. It really looks like it was delivered to another address and some opened to package. Just to confirm, was the white seal on the right side of the box in the picture cut through? That clear packing tape job is really crude.

What would you expect as a resolution to your 3rd complaint? You certainly may file a 3rd complaint but I don't know how UPS can address your complaint or resolve it. You received your package and all contents were intact and the Apple box was still sealed.

It looks like someone just hit the wrong button while attempting to locate your package. The incorrect label (address) is the most common report. Yes it should not happen but on Fridays and weekends it tends to happen more frequently vs during the week.

That's the best news vs filing a stolen phone report with your local law enforcement group and UPS and then waiting even longer for Apple to send you a replacement iPhone.

With all these issues out of the way hopefully your setup process is very smooth and issue free.
