Yep! Mine showed the 30th- Oct 2 but store pick up Friday so guess I’m going to the store after all! Hubby’s gold pro was available to ship but made it for pick up, too obviously!
 
Ok, picked up these two combos:
  • 16 Ultramarine + Star Fruit case
  • 16 Pro Max Desert Titanium + Lake Green case

I will try both for two weeks and see which one I end up picking.

Yeah, my card has also been charged. I've always received the e-mail, usually within a few seconds of ordering, but all signs point to launch day delivery.

I was on the fence last night and decided to let fate decide. If I could still get it delivered 9/20 when I woke up at the normal weekday time (7AM PDT), I would buy it. And I could. 16 Pro 128GB. Black.

Got my 16 Pro Max 256 in Desert in at around 8:05. I had set up yesterday, so just a couple quick clicks and it was set. In store pickup on Sep 20.
 
My dumbass credit card kept declining and pick up time slipped from 10am to 1:45pm in about 45 seconds smh

Odd. I got the e-mail from Apple "processing" around 5 minutes after my order was complete. I got a text from T-Mobile telling me the received a signed agreement on my account, but they didn't e-mail.

I don't think you have anything to worry about if your store page shows the order. (though now in my Store account page it shows my order as "order placed.")

I’m excited! I just pre-ordered (clicked on 8:08 AM EST, got Apple email confirmation around 8:24 AM EST) my iPhone 16 Pro Max in Desert Titanium, 512GB, and the process couldn't have been smoother. I saved my preorder from yesterday, so today it was literally just a click and pay—so convenient!

I can't wait for it to arrive next Friday. It feels like Christmas came early this year!

PSA: If you placed your order correctly, it'll work out. Confirmation emails come at different times. Shipments will move at different times. The phones will sit in China for a while. They might sit in Alaska for a while. Don't sweat it. It'll show up on the 20th aside from a few hyper-specific shipping issues, which you can't control anyway.

Just placed my preorder for 256 pro max in desert. Completely forgot about it being preorder day and delivery slipped to 10/7-10/14. First time I haven’t gotten launch day delivery in years. Could have gotten a pro on launch day but I didn’t want the smaller screen.
 
2 16 pro max's ordered with launch day delivery. Another successful pre order. 5:06am I was finally able to get into the app.

Yeah, I was trying to figure what all these things would cost in the late 70's early 80's and honestly it would be over 100k at top of the line studio equipment back then. I remember in the 80's we purchased a consumer JVC VCR for like $500 at Crazy Eddie, An Olympus Camera for $350, and JVC Camcorder for $795 on sale, and my Commodore 64 I think was 600, not all at once but honestly that was way way more ridiculous if you take inflation into account we must have been crazy, it was probably like 6 grand in 2024 money. These iPhones are a true bargains in comparison. I would have never dreamed that all that tech would someday fit in my pocket and cost just 1k.

IUP here but not ISPU so I can only speak to the Citizen One’s issue-it’ll be fine. Every year I end up using a different card than the one with Citizen.

Tens of thousands of people are ordering. I'm sure Apple's mail servers are seriously straining. 😁
 
Oh, question- If I bought an iPhone with T-Mobile’s trade in credit promotion, but through the Apple Store app, can I trade in my phone at an Apple Store? Or does it have to be directly with T-Mobile?
 
Ordered a 512GB iPhone 16 Pro Mac in black to replace my iPhone 13 Pro Max. The camera upgrades really matter to me, since my kids are only little for so long. Expected to arrive 9/20.

Now I just have to find an iPhone 12 mini for the trade in before the new phone gets here!
