I tried to order right at 6 AM mountain, but my Apple card was not going through for the installments. Had to work with the GS customer service chat and it took me about an hour to resolve. I was able to order the white titanium 128 GB and was able to select a time for pickup next weekend.
 
I’m getting Citizen’s Loan approved messages, but they don’t say which order it’s for!

I ordered 4 for various family members, all on IUP. I have emails for 3 of the 4. I can’t tell a difference on the Apple invoices.

PS: I was worried since I locked our credit report because of recent leaks but that didn’t affect the approval. I’ve had IUP for a long time.

No worries here, I just missed the fun. And last year I did store pickup for the first time and they had a lot of temps working that did not know how to properly complete the transfer without help. They messed up with the eSIM and I ended up having to go to the AT&T store to get it sorted out.

Funny, no one seems to mention that new camera control shutter button, the ability to record in 4K at 120fps, the fact that the 5G speeds are 26% faster, or the fact that USB charging now tops 45 watts. Those are killer features IMO. 😊
The 26% faster 5G is the only feature that interests me. That said, my 15pro max already pulls 1,200mbps on midband with Verizon and T-Mobile so I wouldn’t likely notice any difference.

Yep monthly installments requires a carrier selection now and since I don't use one of those carriers I cannot use the 0%

Last year I ordered using T-Mobile as the carrier even though I was activating with Visible and ending up having no issues as did others with smaller Carriers. If it’s a Pro iPhone it works, if it’s a regular iPhone it wont and requires activation via the site.

PSA: If you placed your order correctly, it'll work out. Confirmation emails come at different times. Shipments will move at different times. The phones will sit in China for a while. They might sit in Alaska for a while. Don't sweat it. It'll show up on the 20th aside from a few hyper-specific shipping issues, which you can't control anyway.
Also to add to this (based on my iPhone 14 order in 2022), there are some shipping destinations where Apple does pre-staged shipments of certain models to UPS distribution centers ahead of time (so your origination scan isn't directly from China) separate from the ones drop shipped to retail (for their launch day inventory). That year, my phone was already sitting at the local DC (so my tracking didn't originate from China like most everyone else and only updated until it was scanned on the truck for delivery).

Will be interesting to see if this Pro model order follows this same format.

I wonder how many people will read your message quickly and frantically call Apple to raise hell about not having their tracking information yet. "I don't have my tracking information yet, and someone else has, so should I be worried?"
 
Ok cool. I knew about them sending a box, but I hate the idea of doing that. If the package gets lost, I don’t want to deal with that.
They have their own tracking and insurance on the package. I did that one year, and I took a video of me putting the phone in the package and sealing it. I also took a photo when I dropped it off to avoid issues. lol

Did they ask you before doing that? I’d be royally pissed if they robbed me of the unboxing experience. The eSIM transfer is very straightforward. I’ll do it myself at home.

That’s the way I feel. I have a 15PM, and I’ve been going back and forth on upgrading since I get all the AI features (aside from visual intelligence). But I decided if I don’t like it I can return it, out of all my devices the phone is the one I use the most, take all my photos and videos on, and enjoy.

I have AirPods Pro 2, Watch Ultra 2, and the AirPods Max didn’t get a big enough update to convince me I need to upgrade my pair. The phone is the only thing I’m interested in this year.
I upgraded from a PM15 myself for all the reasons I outlined above. Wasn't sure before the launch but now I am. It's totally worth it. Plus, you have to remember that your $650 PM15 trade-in this year will be worth about $350 next year. 😂
