Yeah not the end of the world just not had great service from them recently and would be cherry on top for them to be sluggish with my MBP.Virtually everything, if not everything I buy from the Apple Store ships to me via UPS
Been ok for me however.

It’s normally UPS when stuff is dispatched from China. DPD and DHL when stuff is coming from within the UK.
I hope so - if only because you’ve got the exact same spec and delivery time as me, and mine is now preparing to ship as well!
Oh tell me about it.
I recently moved into new build. The postcode is on Royal Mail’s master list but it’s not recognised on any of the major mapping services yet. Even the street name doesn’t exist.
Moving in, I had five different orders with five different couriers. Only Royal Mail actually delivered, which is understandable since they have to go door to door anyway. DHL, FedEx, DPD, Hermes and TNT all failed. Didn’t even bother to just ring me and ask for directions.
And when I “contributed” to Google Maps to make them aware of the new road and postcode it took them six weeks to review and reject my edit!
Yeah it just coughs out some nonsense about it being a multi resident address and to put the apt number in but just rejects every variant.
As I’ve got a stock config due 27th I’m hoping it comes with DPD as they sometimes deliver to me 9-10am
Still hedging my bets for my brother's laptop! Have pre-ordered one with Amazon, but they've no delivery date and you can't order from John Lewis yet or do instore pickup at Apple. I do wonder if third parties actually know how much stock they have for launch day yet or they're just not allowed to confirm until tomorrow maybe?

Still stuck on preparing to ship since Friday. Hopefully by morning when business resumes things will get moving again.
Some work in progress today to stop me continually looking at order status!
A little app which checks the order status page every 5 minutes and then sends me a telegram message (enables me to get a notification!) when the date or order status changes.
Now need to run it cheaply in azure but likely won’t get a chance to by the time the damn Mac arrives! Might be useful for the iPhone 14

Apple have just taken the money for my 14 due to arrive tomorrow. Still ‘preparing to ship’ on the Store.
I'm hoping for a couple of 14 M1Max reviews as well.
