UK - Anyone's Macbook Shipped Yet?

Am I the only whose MBP has been shipped with TNT?
LAst info is that it is at shanghai airport saturday 25th, no info.
I read somewhere that they will not update any info until it reaches Europe.
Possible?

Yep mine is the same, the date of the 28th seems right now, although since the tracker now states "In Transit" they have removed the scheduled delivery date from the info section, so I guess we should just expect it tomorrow.

EDIT: My apple tracking page also states the same as yours, out for delivery as of today. Still, I think UPS know more.

Just got off the phone to apple and i ordered at about 2200 on the 14th. stock 2.4 with nano and its on its way from Luxemborg to Hinkley ATM expect tracking on 28/29 and delivery on 30th....
 
Ordered stock 2.4, printer and iPod nano on the 16th. Received shipping email from Apple on the 24th. Received invoice via email this morning. Still no tracking information, just states 'In transit to final destination - carrier details to be updated shortly.'

I'll post any changes. Hopefully this is helpful to some people in the same situation.
 
Just received mine

Just registered to give some hope to some people...

Ordered a standard 2,4 macbook at 10pm on the 14th and it was just delivered to my door this morning :)

I was tracking it via UPS all the way here except over the weekend where it says that it was still in Germany and according to their site it still is :confused:

Seems like i'm the first on here to receive it aswell:D

Seems like we're in the same situation
I’ve order my CTO macbook + ipod - the macbook shipped late friday. I’m probably still waiting for my order to merge i The Netherlands. Checking my order status hourly makes me crazy - It’s a tick I can’t loose - probably quite typical :cool:

Has Anybody, who ordered a CTO Macbook + iPod (merge), received any tracking updates? - / Any ideas of how long time it takes from the order ships from Shanghai til you get the tracking details ? :rolleyes:
 
How can I track the shipment on a carriers website? How do I know which carrier is being used and which ref / order number to use on the information that apple have given me. My account says that carrier info will be updated shortly but it has said this since Friday. Any help is very much appreciated.

Hi macgrl,

I've been told that if your order nr. starts with 80, then it's TNT. Did you just order the macbook or did you add anything else ?
 
Thank you yes my order number starts 808, so that is useful to know. I also ordered an ipod, and ms office for mac and a remote. I am thinking that they will be waited at the depot for the machine to arrive from china?

I have tried the 808 number in the TNT tracker on the uk site and it says it has no information. Maybe it has just not been added to the system yet. I would just like to know where it is roughly lol there is no information given on my apple account about where it has been / where it is going. Oh well maybe I should be more patient. Just excited that is all lol :D

Edited to say that I tried the TNT site again and the 808 number I have from apple refers to an order that was delivered in June and has nothing to do with apple "OCEANAKING/ML" is the reference. lol
 
Macbook received today (UK)

Hi All

My Macbook was delivered this morning by UPS.
The tracking system was bang on time... i followed it through on the tracking system right the way through from
Shanghai, CN
Apeldoorn, NL
Incheon, KR
Warsaw, PL
Cologne, DE
apeldoorn, NL
Cologne, DE
East Midlands, UK
Stanstead Airport, UK
Feltham, GB

and then finally to me....
Took quite an adventour before getting to me -
At present stuck at work with a macbook sitting sealed in a box next to me and i cant open it until i get home tonight as i have a pile of work to do... aaarrgghhhhh

It is the "our delivery reference number" that begins 808

There is also a "your order number" that begins W87 and the "PO number" is the same.

There is also an "additional order number" that starts 709

Don't know if they help or even what they mean lol

You're quite welcome,

You won't be able to track your order before it's been merged! - I' in the same position as you - waiting to be able to track the order. Mine is shipped with TNT too, well I guess we just have to be a bit more paietn :rolleyes:
 
just transfering from my old macbook, it really makes my blackbook look cheap.

I cant understand what people are complaining about the screen, its pretty much the same as the old macbook but brighter and more reflective, maybe its those people who like to use their notebooks outside under a tree on a nice sunny day, of which england has very few

i had the same too.. you have to click on the "international" tab and then enter the 808 number..

after doing that i got "not found"...

totally worth the experience :D lol!!

i called up apple, and my call seemed to re-direct to the states!!

anyway, the guy was soooo helpful..

when i asked where my macbook was he said "somewhere between shanghi and uk"... i was amazed by that!! :p

my apple order status STILL says:

Estimated Delivery Date (Subject to change) 30 Oct 2008 (Subject to change)
Current Delivery Status In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule 27 Oct 2008

still no concrete tracking details either...

on the upside, my macbook sleeve came today!!! woohoo...

That's fantastic news.

Obviously, now you've got the main part of your order (the sleeve) perhaps you could just cancel the Macbook.

I know the sleeve is what you were really waiting for ;)

Seriously though, isn't Apple's tracking system just infuriating? :eek:
 
Hi All,

Just been on the phone with Apple. They explain that it usually takes around 4-5 working days from the order is shipped from Shanghai till you'll able to track it from the Netherlands.

Why It has to take that long time is a mystery to me :confused:

Since my order was shipped this Friday I can expect to track it late this week.

:(

I think it's the most bizarre delivery schedule/ practice I ever come to know of.

I just hope the MB lives up to my expectations :)
 
just called apple, and they said maybe my MB is in its way to holland to pickup my ipod and then will be send to denmark, and he said i should go with the date given:mad:
