the american dude i spoke with says mine should be expected nov 3rd!!!
none of the details at the moment say that at all.. it still says 27th/30th!!
FFS sake.. this is doing my head in.. lol!!
my sleeve didn't come from Apple, which is why I have it already otherwise i'd be waiting till next christmas!! lol

Just been on the phone with Apple. They explain that it usually takes around 4-5 working days from the order is shipped from Shanghai till you'll able to track it from the Netherlands.
Why It has to take that long time is a mystery to me
Since my order was shipped this Friday I can expect to track it late this week.
I think it's the most bizarre delivery schedule/ practice I ever come to know of.
I just hope the MB lives up to my expectations

I orderd mine on 14th at about 8 30pm gmt and delivery sais 3-4 nov which is bloody ridiculous (yes i did order an ipod with it) allthough estimated delivery is 30th of oct on track... it better arrive thursday...
Gotta say that thats rediculous cause I ordered mine on the 23rd with an Ipod and some more ram and mines predicted to arive on the 5th/6th
they really need to sort this out
It does appear to be a very strange shipping system that apple employ. They must know, and therefore be able to tell us, what country the computer is in. I don't want it's gps position just the country or even the continent. I ordered on the 16th October and it said it had been dispatched on the 24th so all I know is that it is somewhere between China and Warwick, UK. lol the wait continues

Meh i wish i could have bought mine from an apple store... heck i live withing a 4 mile radius of 3 apple stores (4 from 30th of oct) but of course apple don't stock the 2.8ghz models at there stores i think even the 320 gig 7200 rpm drive is a bit hard to get....
Well this is my first experience with Apple and with a personal mac and I can't say I'm enjoying it.
Ordered about a second after the keynote, stumped up £1300 that I don't have, they say delivery on 27 October - they have an hour left of the working day before I get really annoyed.
Although it's my birthday tomorrow, if it comes then I'll be all but still pissed off with the experience.

I have googled it and it says that they are a carrier service, I am just trying to work out the part they play in the process.
they are also names as my courier..
well.. i ordered applecare, macbook and mini displayport adapter... and the applecare is listed as being shipped with syncreon.. lol!! go figure

When they merge probably in Holland the currier changes to UPS and you get the tracking code. At leats thats what I been told. Ordered my MBP & nano on the 16th and still I just get the Merge In Tnst NL Til for my MBP and Syncreon for my nano Its my first mac and so far Im not at all impressed with the company.

What is your estimated delivery date - mine is 3/4th Nov but could also be the 1st as this is a date that is also given. But as this is a Sat probably won't get delivered until the Monday 3rd anyway lol

high demand is the response you will get.. also i don't believe there were (m)any british units available at launch (unlike the US units which were shipping almost next day)..
