UK - Anyone's Macbook Shipped Yet?

estimated delivery 3rd nov
but tnt ref no. is nt workin...

Did you? Have you tried calling Apple and argue for a compensation?
I ordered a MacBook, an iPod nano and a printer on the morning the 15th, and I was told that I should expect to receive my order on Nov 4-5 - now the shipping page says Nov 6, so even though it's just one day more, it's one day on top of 3 weeks - so I'm considering calling Apple tomorrow in order to argue for a £50 compensation.
my scheduled delivery from UPS is now on Tuesday (EINDHOVEN, BEST,
NL 31/10/2008 19:30 ORIGIN SCAN). I can't believe that I ordered on the 14th and will be getting it that late. I must contact someone!

I emailed Apple early on friday morning to express my disappointment with the way this whole situation was conducted - i.e. not explaining that our macbooks were being shipped from China, whereas the Americans got theirs within a day.
No response yet. Pity.

Just phoned TNT to find out what time it will be delivered tomorow, so i know if i need to take a day off college. Theyve said that they dont know....and i have to phone TNT and get though to their apple departmeant stuff at 7AM tomorow..the uncertaincy continues.
They also said they might not be able to deliver it until the 4th because thats apples estimated delivery date cause its come from abroad or some rubbish liek that.

I haven't recieved tracking info yet... and I'm still scheduled (according to
) to recieve it tomorrow... I hope I'll get it tomorrow... do i dare to set the expectations ? 
my macbook + ipod touch order changed to 'in preparation to final carrier' or something on friday and then again changed to 'in transit to customer' yesterday. so i'm assuming my macbook is with TNT, UPS or whoever.. but i still have no tracking number

Im in the same position and im hoping it will come tomorrow. Going by everyone elses experiences we should have received tracking details last night or today based on when the status changed to "in transit to customer" again.
Maybe because it was a sunday they (apple or tnt/ups) havnt updated the tracking stuff - thats what im hoping otherwise it could be tuesday
Gahh. Well i'm glad i'm not the only one. Hoping that i get tracking tonight (Not likely now), or it just turns up, and makes my day!

after reading about the problems on here, I'm really worried it will have slanted keys, loose battery cover or dodgy LED screen... or dodgy lid magnet!
seems to be a lot of things that could go wrong with these at the moment...

yup and if there is a major problem then we're gunna have to go through the whole ordeal of sending them back. not good
orderd on the 14th of october UK time.
Then recieved the macbook pro on 31st which would make it 17 days and a clear FAIL on my part
i guess it was a long night lolwill correct it now if i still can

Phone TNT to check when its gunna be delivered, they are clueless, something about they dont know until theyve finished unpacking, even tho ive already got tracking info for it. Terrible Service.
Im taking a day off college for this 1085 i saved up for this, if it doesnt come today apple gunna get a scary phone call. lol
anyone else epecting theirs today?

Yep, out for delivery does imply that its left your local depot and its on its way to being delivered.

the last 3 TNT deliveries I have had have all come between 11-11:30am...

really depends how far you are from your local depot(check tnt site to find which is yours) and how many other deliveries they are making with that van.
Im missing college today, but its so worth it.

told me I'd have it by Sunday evening when I phoned last week? Tnt mustn't do anything over the weekend? I have a feeling its going to be a loooooonnnng week!!!Just got off the phone with apple. The guy said that they were having a large bulk sent across and that I will likely to receive it on 7-10th of Nov. Even though in the e-mail I got from them I am likely to receive it no later than the 5th. This is very annoying 'cos they basically know the same as us. It's between me and China and not sure where...
