Have bitten the bullet and ordered the Aluminium Space Grey series 5 with Cellular from Apple this morning.

Currently have the S3 via EE but wanted one to use at work and one for personal use.

Music Magpie just offered me £40 for a series 4 Nike watch. In perfect working order no marks, only 5 months old. Don’t think I will bother.

Have to say they don’t seem to offer great trade in prices, do they? Even Apple don’t have the best of trade in offerings.

Considering going with a S5 cellular from my current S2 GPS.

How are people finding the cellular holds up in terms of reception? *I would be looking at using EE.

I ordered this watch thinking that it would be great to make phone calls with it.

Wrong! I’m with the only network that doesn’t support E-Sim...

Just signed a new contract too.

Can 3 actually make calls now on a phone? I got pulled in on the AYCE contracts. Worst move ever. I know reception varies around the UK, but wow, it was terrible in all the spots I went to.

Reception always been good on EE but guess depends on your location.

Thanks.

Yeah, will be dependent on area. But good to hear its solid in your experience.

I get zero signal where I work. I’m hoping that when they move to the 5G masts that they will adopt the signal frequency that’s needed to penetrate buildings.

The thing is, about a week ago Music Magpie the offered me £140 on a Nike series 3, does not make sense.

My watch order has been brought forward to 24-26 Sep from 26 Sep-1 Oct.

Would be awesome if they could fulfil it by this coming weekend at least.

I guess I’ve missed the boat on an Apple store pickup as it says “not currently available”.
When does that come back up - is it Thursday evening? I’m someone with the employee discount link and want my whole £15 off a SS5!

Hi all.

Been away from the Apple Watch since owning Series 0 from launch day and using it for less than a year.

I’m tempted to return and order a Nike+ version.
Has anyone ordered through Vodafone or planning to!?
I have mine and my wife’s iPhone contracts with them, so was gonna add it on....

The £0 pending on my credit card changed to £429 pending, delivery still showing 23rd to 25th Sept (Silver Aluminium GPS + Red Sport Band). Next week’s fine but it’d be nice to get it on Friday.

Pre-ordered my S5 44mm Silver Aluminium Apple Watch with Khaki Sport Loop the second pre-orders went live, been sitting on a 23rd-25th delivery date since then, but checked my order just now and it's slipped right back to the middle of October? Payment was taken and order was processing, but not sure why it's slipped all of a sudden?

Very weird!! I’m still ok luckily.

I should not worry. Apple is pretty good at sticking to delivery dates. Probably just a glitch and it will revert back to the original date. Mine is still 23/25-9 PFD.

Guys i couldnt order a 44mm titanium but i reserved an iphone for pickup instore 8:00am 20 sep is there any chance i could buy an apple watch 5 titanium on launch day? In store while picking up my iphone?

It’s possible - depends how much surplus stock they have.

Apple stores do keep a handful aside for people who haven’t ordered in advance but again this will vary store to store and models/configurations.

Ordered an Apple Watch Edition GPS + Cellular, 44mm Space Black Titanium Case with (PRODUCT)RED Sport Band — delivery between 23 September - 25 September. I was hoping to take it on a cycling holiday on 21st to test out the battery etc. but looks like I won't be getting it in time.

Tempted to go queue up with the kids on Friday to pick one up in store. My Apple Watch 0 cannot get through half-a-day without dying.
