I’m now thinking about cancelling the aluminium order and ordering a stainless steel one due to reading about the aluminium screen scratching much easier.

Is that a sufficient justification to spend the extra £300? Lol.

Based on my experience with both SS and SB SS, I would say yes - it’s very hard wearing. If you’re planning to keep a new Watch for a couple of years then go for it - nothing worse than having an “...if only” moment at some time in the future :(

Ordered an Apple Watch Edition GPS + Cellular, 44mm Space Black Titanium Case with (PRODUCT)RED Sport Band — delivery between 23 September - 25 September. I was hoping to take it on a cycling holiday on 21st to test out the battery etc. but looks like I won't be getting it in time.

Tempted to go queue up with the kids on Friday to pick one up in store. My Apple Watch 0 cannot get through half-a-day without dying.

Going to try the same. My titanium and leather strap won’t come till the 4th. Picking up the phone Friday and will look at the titanium up close and see how it compares to the Ss

This is why I’m wondering when store pick up will appear again for store inventory. I’ve done this before, i.e. ordered the night before and picked up launch day or launch day +1.

Excited now!!!!!!

Have ordered 44mm GPS grey Aluminium from Stormfront. They have a 3 year warranty and there is a store near me. They, as yet, do not have the new bands available. I fancy the Anchor Grey sports loop which I will pick up later when available.

Cancelled my Aluminium Space Grey 40mm order and going to get the Silver Aluminium instead after much deliberation but that’s looking to be 2 Oct to 7 Oct.

I don’t know if any of you guys get Corporate Perks discount through your work place which appears to be like £10-£15 off at best on the watch, but Apple don’t appear to let you design your own watch on the corporate discount website. Which is rubbish.

Ok guys, a confession. I said I would never order the S5 but I have wilted and as a result I hang my head in shame. I did place an order for the Ceramic on the 10th then cancelled it the next day as I felt it was an expensive upgrade for very little extra from my S4 SSSB and since then I have posted on several threads saying that the S5 wasn't worth the upgrade from the S4.

However, today, having read the positive reviews about the S5 and seeing all the excitement, my resistance has crumbled and I have re-ordered the ceramic with the lemon meyer leather loop. A 3 to 4 week wait now.
So I hang my head in shame and apologise to all...but to combat my repentance, at least I have still resisted the 11 Pro Max in favour of keeping my XS MAX

Therefore I ask for forgiveness :)
