In my experience, Argos have always had launch day stock so I would be surprised if they didn't.
Doesn't look like anybody has a clue! Will probably just play it safe and go in at 8 tomorrow morning. No sense staying up and wasting a journey, and if rumours are correct, stock should be pretty good.
However in Perth it's actually 11:20pm and the stores are also down in china, Hong Kong and Singapore which have similar times? Not sure then maybe it will be a 12am launch - either way we'll know in about 45 mins

Yes they should, but worth calling if its a small store.

I spoke to staff at Tesco in the north of Scotland. They said that they have a good supply of stock of ipad Airs. Selling at 8am tomorrow.
Tesco's Livingston distribution hub has them for supply to the stores in Scotland & North England. I haven't heard if/when they have been shipped to store or how that relates to online availability but that all points to being available in many stores tomorrow at some point. I can't imagine then not being shipped out to stores if they are available.
Australia store is up (as is Japan, Singapore etc)......... so looks like we on for midnight launch!!!!
It came online at midnight in Perth. Makes sense as can't segregate store between different timezones in same country - so have to go one all are at midnight. For UK shouldn't be an issue!

Excellent news guys - apple online 12am uk launch is on! Delivery I reckon by Mon /Tue next week
I've just phoned my local Tesco Extra in Hanley and the woman on the other end said they don't even know when the launch date is, even though I told her myself.

I imagine you could walk into most stores tomorrow or Saturday and pick one up without the wait to be honest.

Right so I've been in touch with Tesco about 5-10 times today through various routes. Customer service phone, Twitter, chat online. All saying different things. I had one informative call at lunch time with a guy who checked up on deliveries, found out my local Tesco Extra is due to get a delivery tonight. Other sources such as the chat say it's not gonna be available for weeks. So when I get home from work I'm going to drive to the store and ask them personally RE a midnight launch and I'll let you know how I get on.
