Collected my wife's 32GB wifi earlier from Tesco. Very pleased with it, I can understand people being a little disappointed with the slightly muted colours - but the display is awesome in its own right, let's be honest.

Got my mini retina from curry's today, all i can say is its perfect, no issues at all. Screen is perfect, no dead pixels or uneven blotches or anything, perfectly uniform. Don't know why everyone is saying they are washed out, they are just not over saturated like the air, they have a very nice clean look to them.
Also this thing is very fast and the perfect size for me, build quality is very good as well, couldn't be happier.

Mine's perfect to. Just wondering are you using a case? If so which one? Me, I'm looking to use 'naked' with a sleeve.
Not using a case as yet, just been looking online at some. Can't decide whether to go for an apple smart cover/case, or go with something like i do with my phone which is an incipio feather case with a screen protector, adds less bulk this way.
Some people are saying that the first gen mini cases don't fit the mini retina properly, so i may wait to see what gets release specifically for the retina.
Well I have 3 'old' mini cases and they all fit the new mini fine? I have the poetic case, the mareware case and the targus case. All fit fine.
Thats good to hear, it was just some posts on here i was reading, but on here there is alway some people having problems no one else has.
Just filled in the form on the John Lewis website and they emailed back about 24hrs later to say they will refund £30. Tesco did have stock when I submitted the request.

UPDATE: I received my price match confirmation from John Lewis this afternoon (about 48 hours after requesting it, but there was a Sunday in the way), £30 going back onto my card. Thank you John Lewis and all those who posted on here about getting price matches accepted against Tesco et al

well my screen protector, case, sleeve and data sim have all arrived now .. just waiting for the lte rMini which is still processing
I've been checking on stock levels at the Apple shops in Manchester, and I've not seen a 4G model of any capacity in 3 days.
I wonder if they'll have 4G models in next week's deliveries...

Checked all around town (Edinburgh) yesterday but everywhere was sold out of the rMini. No stock at the Apple stores in Glasgow either.
However John Lewis got a load of them in this morning so I was lucky to grab a 32GB wifi in white. Very pleased. The screen's definitely not as bright/vibrant as my 5S but to be honest, had I not spent a couple of days reading about the issues on here, I would hardly have noticed and it doesn't bother me.
First iPad I've owned since the 1st gen (which i sold after ~2 years). Really lovely piece of kit... although as a 5S user I could have done with touchID, though I guess we shall see this in the future.

I ordered a retina Mini on Tuesday when it was released, and today I got the email from Apple saying that it was dispatched, even though they said the dispatch time was 5-10 business days.
What I'm most surprised about is that it's coming from Taipei, via TNT. Previous stuff I've ordered came straight from the UK (I live in Ireland).
Do you guys know how long it should take to be delivered? Tracking information is not working yet. Is anyone else getting the iPad from Taipei?

It's in Hong Kong now, but it's been sitting there for one day and a half

Mine now says Shenzhen ! Yours is probably going to be delivered on tuesday , after all it's only saturday , it doesn't take that long to come from HK.
Ordered it within, I think, about an hour of being able to on the first day. It was around 0830 I think. Dunno when the ability to order went live though.
At the very least, it relieves me of the compulsion to constantly monitor the iPad stock checkers, and Apple's reserve and collect!

The store went live at 08:00 GMT. I got my order confirmation through at 08:03 (64GB, wifi, space gray) but as of 17:00 yesterday (when I cancelled following a successful John Lewis click and collect) it was still "Processing" for delivery 26/11-3/12. Congratulations to you for the speedy despatch, here's hoping the shipping is as prompt.

I ordered my 64GB cellular rMini at 08:03 on release day and am still in processing.
32GB Cellular here, probably won't arrive until the 3rd Dec delivery estimate.
that's good stuff ... i placed my 64gb lte mini around 2pm on the 12th ... i had been deciding between mini and air all morning ... should have made my mind up earlier i guess .... still processing for me
